I had no problems, and didn't have to change anything. Also just re-installed everything on a new PC and all is OK.
Just make sure your player name and e-mail address are correct on the submit screen and try again - it's always possible that galciv.com was having a problem at the time.

GH, I've read all I can find about 'blocks' and I still don't fully understand what's going on with them--but from the comments that you and littlewotts are making I'm presuming it's a good thing. I had presumed that my old submissions would devalue--thereby dropping me lower. Can you (or someone) explain what I can expect (using very small words  )?
That reminds me, the other night I had a 60K maso that burped and came out at 59-and-change. Still haven't figured out what went wrong. However, my youngest (age 11) informed me that "the Metaverse finally figured out you're a blond, and so it had to deduct from your score!" (Very funny kid--now go to your room until you're 18!)

OK, it works like this:
1)Divide your games into "blocks" of 30 days each (31 in the first).
2)In the first block (0-31 days old), add all the games scores together, then divide by the square root of the number of games played. So for you, that is something like sqr of 33 or a little less than 6
3)Repeat for each "block" of 30 days worth of games, only afterwords, multiply by some percent - for the 31-60 block, 95%
The idea is that tomorrow, your first game (that is, the first game you ever submitted) will be worth (11,230/sqr 1 (which = 1)) times 95% and the rest of your games will be worth (sum of total/sqr 32) so you will get about a 10 or 11K extra "bump" with your first game submit tomorrow.
Then, as you go through your second month, more games will drift from first to second block and continue to give small boosts to your score. You will start to notice that the first game submitted on any given day is likely to boost your score more than the second game in the same day due to this effect.

Oh, watch for Loth's "block day" he gets something like an extra 90-100K because his first day's worth of games are 6 60K masos! 'Course, thats part of why the rest of the time his games only net him about 3K...

Working on it! Honestly though, it probably won't happen for me till next week. Friday is shot for me. And you notice that 50th is at 318K, 49th is at 328K Assuming that you do lead the way in, likely because of your block, that makes 40K to 50K more for me. And because I am in a "dead" spot in my blocks, I'll only be getting about 6K a hop... That makes about 8 more games for me.
But by then, I'll be close to my red shield!!

Excellent! Every now and then I lose sight of the smaller, more manageable goals and get focused on the enormity of Mount Greldon and Lothmorg Peak (like this morning). So, like you looking forward to your red shield, I will start looking forward to my black one (and page 2).
