OK, let me be just about the last to congratulate you on a marvellous achievement Lothmorg.
Ironic really, when I started playing I thought if I ever reached 1 million points, I would be able to retire as one of the top players. On the day I reach 1 million, Loth cracks 2. 
I guess I need to keep going a bit longer.
I feel a word or two of congratualtion is in order for Greldon as well. From what I can gather from the history of the metaverse, your tenure as number 1 was quite long. So well done for holding Loth off for as long as you did (it took him 379 games don't forget - probably more than he had in mind when he started the chase), but remember you've still got a target attached as well.

Indeed! At the time, I just needed to catch up to Jaws (~1.1M). 
Greldon came up snatched it away and RAN as fast as he could!
Now I'd like to see the front page full of Guardians!

Actually, I think we just became the first empire to have 3 players with over a million points, the first with a 2 million point player, and we're only 28k from 10 million - if we can crack that one today, that makes it an awesome day for the Guardians all round.
With Quik making such an immediate impact in the empire, along with the crowd of existing Guardians that are charging up the meta in formation.....
Still, the day deservedly belongs to Lothmorg The Black.

That's the problem, isn't it. After my first game, I was about 1.1 million off 1st place. Now, 140 games later, I'm about 1 million off first place. 
Well, leaving it up to the US contingent to get us through the 10M barrier tonight (Meta runs on EST I believe, so that gives you all just short of 4 hours to get those points in).
