I'm still up too. Just finished another game, and it wouldn't post again. I already emailed CariElf about it, as she instructed me to. I also updated to 1.2. I hope that corrects it.

Lothmorg parked his shiny red Porsche Boxster in the garage in its usual place. People often asked him why he didn't have a black car, to go with his name, but he just shrugged...he liked to engender an air of mystery. Most people thought it was just confusion, but he was certain it was an air of mystery.

He went upstairs to check all was well with his gaming rig and life support system before plugging in for another round-the-clock effort. Strangely, the bedroom door seemed a little stuck...but it finally gave way with a mighty push of his mouse clicking finger. There was a small piece of white fluff, caught in the door jamb, that was causing the problem.

He glanced over at his specially modified super-cooled 80286 - no one could say these babies didn't have staying power. He hung another bag of normal saline on the I/V pole, added a "vitamin" supplement that precluded his competition in the Olympic Games, and flushed the tubing so all was ready. He grimaced at the urinary catheter he'd have to insert, but muttered: "No pain...no gain..." to himself as he prepared some local anaesthetic gel. Suddenly, a strange sound echoed from the walk-in wardrobe...a scratching, clicking sound...

He went to the wardrobe, opened the door...and was confronted by a most unusual sight. "What on earth is a shee

After updating to 1.2 I was able to submit those 2 games, so it must have been something from 1.19.

It is as long as they are trashing the Yor!

I downloaded 1.2 last night after I finished the game I had going (Yor sufficiently slaughtered) and started another. Any idea what the logistics achievement actually will do for you?

I am hoping so as I am building it in my current game. 1.2 seems to be running just fine. I played for about 2 hours straight and noticed no real problems with it yet.

That's great news! Hope it continues that way...

I've had a little experience with Logistics from 1.49 and it certainly makes building SBs a lot different. Where I used to try to grab every resource I could, I now have to really plan on getting them.

#1122  by Citizen damoose - 2/20/2004 9:11:30 AM

Buying them works as well. THey seem to be a little more expensive in 1.2 than 1.13.

Yes, this is a work-around for the cost of building SBs...the AI seems to be quite willing to absorb the cost of building and then give you the SB for a couple of techs.

#1124  by Veteran Terl - 2/20/2004 9:14:56 AM

I am much more careful with them too. I noticed it in the first game I played in 1.19. They get to be quite expensive. Just a matter of changing the way you play a little I guess.

I noticed the AI seems more touchy about fleets being prepositioned in their space also.
