We also spent a month studying with Dr. Francis Schafer at L'Bri in Hoemoz, Switzerland.

Oooh! I am so jealous! I was this close to going over and spending some time there--but ended up reading his books instead! The whole time sounds like a wonderful adventure!

Work - definition please?

Work - definition please?

Yes...what is this 'work' thing everyone talks about? Must be that place I go and don't have fun.

It was great. We also atttended several conferences here in the States after we came back and used his video tapes in Los Alamos to present a discussion series to the town. It was awsome. A lot of interest by intellectuals and good discussions. Hopefully it caused some people to think.

Is that "Work" as in "What is this Work/Real Life thing?", or "Work" as in "What work do you do?"

"Eki-eki-pikang-zoot-boing!"

That aswell.

Now Major Dallas, you must build us a.... shrubbery out of Yor cranial units.

But please, can't we have a little more peril?

Yes

It will be an honor. How tall would you like that shrubbery to be? (I presume that its length will circumnavigate the entire domain of the Galactic Guardian empire--which will probably take me the rest of my Metaversian experience to complete, particularly since our Empire keeps expanding--but will still be an enjoyable and honourable undertaking!)

Hmmm, I'm not sure I can answer the first one, but I'll try...

Work is that which prevents us from playing GalCiv, so we can earn money, so we can afford a computer and software to play GalCiv.

As for the second, I spend a lot of time watching software install and computers reboot - sometimes on new computers, but often after yet another user disregarded my admonisments to use antivirus software and back up their data.

Well, after all, who do you think you are?

I was in charge of MIS at a small company for a while and I know the problem. I was also Group Leader for Network Engineering at Los Alamos National Lab and that was a problem there as well. One would think that people would learn, but some don't seem to have developed that capacity (perhaps they are decended from the Yor?)

The Yor don't use antivirus software?!? Wow! Think of the posibilities!

Aren't they, in fact, the virus?

Head Knight of Ni: We are now the Knights who Say... ekki-ekki-ekki-ekki-ptang-zoom-boing-mrowr!
King Arthur: Well, Knights of... Knights who up till recently said 'Ni...'

Sorry, I just had to add that.

I will create the evil empire soon. We need to come to an agreement on the name first, though.

What are the choices so far?

#11819  by Citizen Lothmorg the Black - 5/28/2004 12:45:59 PM

What are the choices so far?

Actually, I can't recall then all.

Army of Darkness
Evil Galactic Guardians
Galactic Guradians of Doom
Guardians of Terror

You get the idea. Please feel free to add anything you like.

#11820  by Citizen Weyrleader - 5/28/2004 12:46:20 PM

How about Guardians of the Night - to keep the light from getting in

#11821  by Citizen Lothmorg the Black - 5/28/2004 12:48:31 PM

I like that one too. I especially would like to keep the Guardian name in there - so there is no confusion.

#11822  by Citizen Lothmorg the Black - 5/28/2004 12:49:37 PM

I must step away for a few; to earn my credits.

I'll be back shortly, I hope.

Edit: Since I can't spell.

Might I suggest, "Knights who up until recently said 'Ni' but who inevitably will be crushed by The Good!"

#11824  by Citizen Genghis Hank - 5/28/2004 12:54:06 PM

Guardians who say Ni?
Trans-Galactic Guardians?
AAA Guardians?
League of Dark Guardians?
League of Darkness?
