Well, it just might be me!
Muahahahaha. Another top of page claimed by the Guardians of Doom!

I can't believe nobody jumped in there...

We let evil take it's small victories. Were saving our victory for the big one. |
|
Excellent! You are starting down the path already. Each time you allow a little more evil into the world, you take another step to our side! Mahahaha!
| |
|
Evil is quite good at recognizing different perspectives... |
|
Translation: Evil is quite good at speaking out of both sides of it's mouth!

"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." -Edmund Burke
Found this while checking out some quotes on evil, and it seemed a fitting rallying call for the Guardians of Justice--as well as a truism in RL.

BOOM!! here again, got close me as #51! D@mn it!!
Alright lads... there is one more...
Baseball Season
A recent Scottish immigrant attends his first baseball game in his new country and after a base hit he hears the fans roaring run....run! The next batter connects heavily with the ball and the Scotsman stands up and roars with the crowd in his thick accent: "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-run will ya!" A third batter slams a hit and again the Scotsman, obviously pleased with his knowledge of the game, screams "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-r-run will ya!" The next batter held his swing at three and two and as the ump calls a walk the Scotsman stands up yelling "R-r-run ya bahstard, r-r-run!" All the surrounding fans giggle quietly and he sits down confused. A friendly fan, sensing his embarassment whisper, "He doesn't have to run, he's got four balls." After this explanation the Scotsman stands up in disbelief and screams, "Walk with pr-r-ride man!"

AltMeta stats are here: Link
StatBot is here: Link
I believe that we're using the AltMeta is the 'final arbiter' in the GvE competition.

I just had Dr. Pepper shoot out my nose!!!
Dull Thud
Well, I was all ready to feel good about getting three in today and I see Naqmir has beat me to it! Holy cow, the activity is going to go through the roof during June!
Glad to see everybody is having a little fun at the other's expense! Just remember, in the end we're all Guardians!
Great job Attila, you're going to slip into the Top 50 soon!
Glad to see loopcub, quick and bonscott drop in! Enjoy yourselves guys! I've found I've had some pretty crappy starts in my games lately. I've had to struggle with diplomatic relations and I've even had to build my own Transports!!! That's just not right! I don't think I've built my own transports in ages. I usually buy them from the AIs and use them against them.
Gotta go pick my daughter up from daycare now, so no GalCiv until she goes to sleep tonight. Could I possibly get four games in today???
For Honor and Justice!

I believe, if I'm not mistaken, statbot runs on CST |

Forgot about this in all the posts. I'll take a stab at it here, but if anyone who knows more can add or correct this, please feel free.
The statbot Alex hosts, which is the same one that runs Alt Meta, is in GB. It runs GMT. So it updates at 12 and 6 am and pm their time, or 10 and 4 for me in Eastern US.
The main meta runs at Stardock in Michigan, which is also EDT. I don't know if submissions count as the local time to the player submitting, or to Stardock time, since they are one and the same for me.
Anyway, Alex gets his info from the main metaverse submissions, so whenever the Metaverse counts a game, thats what statbot and altmeta believe.
At least that's what I've seen so far...

Also, KasualKid's statbot, which Alex's gets data from, or was at least based on, goes on CST I believe.

Just be certain to aim that at the Yor, my Emperor! (The shock value causes them to momentarily pause, then the sugar starts gumming up their joints, while the acids begin eating away at their metal veneer. It all sounds so beautiful, it actually brought a tear to my eye. )

Thanks VoT, that part I didn't know about. But I would guess that both of them source Stardock for the data, else Alex's would always be behind the MWC statbot?

Don't worry, the Yor are having a very bad month this month...
