Oh you are cursed now, you took the 100 post from the Galactic Guardians. Now you will pay. Are interested in a Diplomat to solve your problems call 1-800DIPLOMAT and we will assist you in this rather embarrasing matter.

Now that makes an interesting trilogy of 15 year olds: you might be interested to know our GoblinCookie and the Jedi's Grand Admiral Sherbert are that age, if my memory is right (memory declines after the age of 15, y'know).

Hello, littlewotts.

You're right on my part.

Good morning, everyone!

Welcome to our newest Galactic Guardian, littlewotts! Thanks for stopping in and introducing yourself! I've got to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised at the growth of our empire! If I'm not mistaken, we've grown every day since our colonization. Thank you everyone for your support (sounds like a Bartles & James commercial...for those of you old enough to remember those!)

Sherbert, don't worry about grabbing post #100. With the looks of things, we'll be getting lots of chances at special post numbers. Thanks everyone for stopping in and saying hi!

At the risk of sounding like Yoda,

"Age Matters Not. In the Metaverse, We Are. As Equals We Meet."

Well, I finished off that Tiny game last night and decided it was finally time to d/l Altarian Prophecy. I've got to say, I'm very impressed with the new races. I hope to finish my first 1.49 game tonight.

Oh, and in case you haven't yet, I'd like to ask all Guardians to email me at nascarfanatic.geo@yahoo.com Email
I'd like to ask you guys a couple of questions. Don't worry, I'm not posting the email addresses anywhere. Thanks!

Good morning and with your newest member, I think is time for an update of your website. Well done Theoden, well done, more are coming to join you very shortly.

Yup...gotta find some time.

Okay, found some time. I've added littlewotts to the roster and adjusted our history a little bit.

Theoden, I got your email.

Got any ideas? I'm at a loss. Can't edit what I can't see! It's never easy, is it?

#118  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 2/11/2004 3:38:21 PM

Really can't understand why that code was disappearing for you. It's there...you just weren't seeing it.

Speaking of weird things, I tried to edit some stuff at home on my XP machine and the webpage loaded in the editor box! Guess I'll have to do all my updates from work.

#119  by Citizen Greldon - 2/11/2004 4:00:19 PM

I have XP at home and NT at work. I get the same thing on both machines. It doesn't make any sense. I guess the bottom line is...I can't manage the website unless someone knows what causing this to happen.

#122  by Veteran Gerakken - 2/11/2004 5:38:45 PM

Gerakken gets a report from his trusty espionage droid Shadow: "Top 25 overlord Theoden sighted. Transmitting coordinates and known associates." The Spymaster slips into The Guardian's Grog to check out the locals. "Torian Tornado, that sounds like an interesting drink. Almost reminds me of the cooking back on the pirate ship," Gerakken thought to himself. "Time to blend in and take some notes. Judging by the drink menu and the Drengin skin on the wall, it looks like I could like it here. Oh, well. I'll let them notice me after I sent my data back to the droids. Hmm. No time for a long visit. I'll just leave a note behind."

After a brief recon, the Spymaster leaves behind his quick note: Gerakken was here. Congrats on building your new empire, Theoden. May the Meta treat you and your members well.

#123  by Citizen Greldon - 2/11/2004 6:57:20 PM

Theoden: I edited the roster page and checked it (preview) to make sure my edits were OK, then inserted the code you gave me at the top and then saved it. That seems to have worked.

I added the code before I previewed the file and it looked OK, but when I went back to the editor it was gone....again. That's why I added it just before the save. Something happens that deletes the code when I open the editor. I guess I'll have to paste the code in every time I edit the file. I'd like to find out why this is happening, but at least I can get by in the meantime.

Thanks for your help.

Theoden, I didn't get the email. My account has been acting up as of late, so could you please re-send? Thanks!
