eh...that's a question that people have been asking for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time
| |
|
|
hey no fair i prefer "misguided"
| |
|
That's a misnomer. Good are the ones that slap that label on anything that doesn't fit into their ideals.
True evil makes their own path.

Okay, I'm going to go kill some more Yor...
Be back later!

Well, if you're going to go for the D&D alignments, I'd probably be that too. Although in character, I'm always LE.

| HEY ME TOO, it's my favorite alignment to play, Dominator, you play or have played dnd lothmorg?
| |
|

|
Oh, I have not played D&D for ... almost 20 years. Since I was in the military.
| |
|
for some reason everyone i know who's older then 20 who's played dnd have also been in the military, more specifically the marines
wow 1st edition compared to what the game is like now 1st edition was pretty scarry

i'll show you evil...i'll release snuggles into the good side of ravens claw... and maybe even the evil side! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH

Hmmm, I break that rule.

I see it the other way. 3rd ed (3.5) is scary for me. After years (10? 15?) absence, I am now DMing for my daughter and some of her friends. It's been a learning curve.
| |
|
well i mean scary cause comparatively 3rd edition is more versaitle then 2nd and 1st, i can't imagine it not being so versatile! plus it's more polished to me it seems, also they have a richer more prestigous benefactor WotC which is good or bad depending on how you look at it, i do miss ed greenwood though one of my favorite dnd material writers

GvE tournament is heating up with friendly mud slinging going on on both sides (but evil is better at it)... |
|
Not so fast there, Loth. Let's compare the smilies side-by-side. Here we have fresh, clean, blue smilies, and over here we have dirty, muddy, evil smilies. How who has more mud on them from the mud-slinging? Hmmm, tough call. NOT!
| |
|
That would be me (among others)! BOOM! A light mid-day snack. (Boy, those Yor sure are crunchy!)

WOW lothmorg you were right the good guys DO suck at it!

Of all three editions, I still find I like 1st the best. There is a lot more interpretation of the rules in 1st. 3rd seems to have everything locked down. Too limiting for me.
Even though I have not played, I still try to keep up and I'm even one of those losers that gets every single book I can.
Maybe I'll run my daughter through my world in another 10 or 12 years.

hows that? i feel the opposite 1st was too restricting or at least what i know about it, 3rd edition just has too much variation in the way each group of gamers play
