well... i guess fireball and lighting bolt work... just make sure your using them against the right type of fiends damn immunities and resistances

Those DO suck. Seems 3E is a little more unforgiving about those.
Gandalf found Glamdring in the Troll cave while in Thorin's company, so he was already a MU there. Must have been dual classed, of course.
3E does allow for sword use with a spellcaster, right? It's been a while since I've looked at those books.

yes, and armor too.
i like the idea of resistences and immunities, but here's an obscure rule that only appears in one book there are also vulnerabilities that is increased damage
from elements

Those 6 games netted me a grand total of 29K metaverse points - but at least they're worth 360K in the tourney.
