Had to spend time this morning moving files around on my disks so that I had enough space to play 
The game I submmited last evening was interesting. It took forever and I was forced into a Military victory to get my 60K. The Yor eventually totally flipped to me and just after the last Yor planet rebelled, I got a message from the Yor saying that they were surrendering to the Darth A little late there, Yor.
Then with seven left, all would be willing to ally except for Drengins. So I had to wipe them out. By then I was down to Torians, Aldarins and Darth. They would all ally but I would get only 59,648 points or some wird number like that. I am now rated as 1st in the Galaxy. So, I elminate the Darth and still no 60K. By then there are only 8 systems left evenly divided between the Torians and Aldarins, so, guess what? Boom, Boom, Boom,Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom, and the Galaxy is clean and I get my 60K points.
Was it worth it? Yes. How long did it take? About 5 hours total between two days. I could have played 3 normal games in that time. But I did have fun showing those alians that is is not good to mess around with Weyrleader

Dull Thud
Another shot from the forces of Good!
Did anybody hear that loud thundering just a few minutes ago? It was the sound of the remaining seven enemy systems disappearing into the mysts of time...
Okay, time to update the medals page. This is going to be a full-time job this month, I think! 
Congrats to all who have been bombarding the Meta with BOOMs!
Oh, and Major Dallas...you're sure to catch me soon. I am not scoring squat on my games now. I was hoping to try to catch Naqmir but I'm only netting about 3k per game.  Well, I guess I'll set a goal for 800,000 points then.

My predictions/projections for the month of June.
If I play apporx 25 games at my current point level, I should end up with about 640K by the end of the month. That should just be enough to take me past Paguma since he is making retirement noices. There are 8 inactives between me and the top of page, Paguma being the top most. I believe that in the course of this month, approx 3 players will overtake me.
Therefore, I should wind up around 33rd or 34th for the month if I keep playing at my current rate. The current fierce battle at the bottom 6 or 8 places of page one will extend down to include easily all of the top 5 of page 2. We will be very close to the point where page 1 costs a minimum of 3/4 of a million points, and the million point club will be at or close to 15 members.
Oh, and the Guardians of Doom will win!

I'm not trying to catch you, my Emperor! I'm trying to champion cause of the Guardians of Justice! (It just so happens that the two are somehow related.  )
I'm averaging in the high 3Ks right now, but occasionally the first game of the day will net me some rollover points and bam, I'll take a big jump. It only seems to happen when I'm not expecting it--so I'm trying hard to not expect it each and every day!

Wow! Emperor Theoden of Rohan strikes again! And RL will never be the same again, as a rift in the space-time continuum causes GalCiv and RL to become one! (Actually, my wife heard all of that and asked me about it this morning. I was oblivious until I followed GH's link.)
