Is there somewhere that says what all the good and evil bonuses are? |

Boom!
Holy Jebus I had to fight for that one. the Korx had 5 planets which made them majorly dominant the whole game, and I had to keep bribing them, then as the tables started to look like I could talk them into allying I got a good alignment message which I took. Then my relations with the drengin, drath, korx, and yor [the most powerful races with 3-5 planets each] rapidly deteriorated, I kept bribing the heck out of them, then I'd get the 'ah, more presents message and have to wait. Then by the time I could bribe again they sank back down. It took me over 100,000 BC and probably about a year and a half to get them to all be close. Never had so much trouble getting the alliances before.
In the relations department I think the evils have an advantage because they have all the people they want to ally with the same alignment, whereas I had to fight tooth and claw to get those guys to like me, ('specially the stupid drengin)
Any ways I coulda done that any easier? I had all my trade routes to the korx except one to the drengin, and even those didn't seem to help my relations much.
Oh well, it all worked out in the end.

Nice, I managed to move up another place that game, watch out the rest of page 2 I'm coming, although it looks like the hill gets steeper from here on out. I'm up for the challenge though.

Yeah, I played 6 games last weekend and one today, and I've only moved up about 2 places.

Not making much of a dent in the GvE circles |

Hey Quik, you're one of a select handful of active contributors for the Guardians of Justice right now, so believe me when I say that every point and every game is counting plenty! (Encourages me just to know that you are plugging away at it when you can!) And don't forget--this is just a friendly competition between us Guardian brothers, and like you it is spurring all of us on to greater and greater accomplishments in the Meta!

I can make lots of evil Choices and I still get only chaotic evil games why |
|
Some choices are "more evil" than others. The same holds true for trying to get a pure good game. Many of the common events only change your morality by 1-5 points. It seems the events that involve BCs can be as high as 1O points. You usaully need 5-10 events to even get close to a "pure" morality.
| |
|
|
Plus all the rage for playing rare planets does mean less events. |
|
That seems to be the key in AP, as you seem to get less "random" events.
I've switched from playing huge with rare/uncommon to large with common/abundant to get the extra colonisation events needed to hit PE.
Your morality (as seen in the domestic screen / stats / society view) needs to be 10 or less for PE.

Only those of good alignment can truly plumb the depths of evil... for only they have the strength of conviction. |
|
The strength of conviction to park a terror star next to their ally's homeworld, blow 100 billion innocent souls out of existence without warning, and then be hypocritical enough to call themselves "pure good".

This is very philisophical! Three cheers for our resident guru, damoose!
That was a pretty fun game. I invaded the Drengin very early since they were Cool to me and they were just irritating me. Then I invaded the Yor. About two turns later, the Fundamentalists appeared and eliminated the Drath and Arceans. I immediately traded them Aphro, Grav Accel, and Frict. Cloth. for 100BC/20 turns and began cranking out Constructors about every 2 turns. The Korx flipped to me about 5 or 6 turns before I Greldonized (TM) the galaxy.
The Fundies are what really make playing Good worthwhile!

So it turns out my lifting/working buddy has some "errands" to run, so perhaps I can squeeze in another game for the forces of justice before we go in to work.

They can be fun for evil too. 2 of my last 3 games they appeared, and both times they took out at least one opponent while leaving me untouched. It's great when Evil can get Good to do the work for us.

Hi GH!
Everytime I've played Evil and the Fundies appeared, they usually take several of my systems. I'm pretty weird about my systems and I don't like to lose any of them during a game. That's pretty much why I don't play evil very much.
Hmmm...think I'll slip out quietly and play another game this morning!
See everybody in a little while after I've submitted!
