here's another thing to cosider, stardock may be actually reading everything pertaining to this issue, but are refraining from giving us an explanation till they have all the facts themselves, so that would be a good reason to wait, to overly push our stance on this situation before knowing there's would only serve to cause problems and more altercations.

now what i'm about to say i do not think it happening but it IS possiblility i mean no offence to anyone nor am implying anything, this is a possibility from a completeley impartial point of view, especially considering i believe in there innocence.
here it is: we cannot exactly base whether or not one cheats based on character, afterll this is the internet and people are capable of lying about who they are.
but i DO NOT believe either of them do.

| Could they not be mistaking formula for cheating. Having played Naqmir's strategy I know you could play the game the same way everytime totally ignoring what the AI do |

Not to interrupt,
The last time players were accused, I talked to Brad and using my submissions proved them innocent. One of us, and only one of us, (Probably either me or Theoden) should approach Brad Monday. In the mean time, lets not gang up on Brad in the other threads, He'll be far less approachable and far more defensive, and far less inclined to give info.
If we all approach in anger, it will most certainly not yield the result we want.

Let's not jump to the conclusion that the evidence is rather conclusive. Let's analyze what Frogboy said: He said the same enemies. I always use the same enemies. I never change the alien orientations and I always use all 7 of them. So, my game always has the same enemies.
He said the games always start out with the same technology to research. I too always start out with the same technology to research. I then follow a set list and almost never diviate from what I research. If you don't trade, as Loth and others don't because it takes time, then you will always research the same list.
Same map. Now this is a little harder to understand, but I think I can posit a situation where this would appear to be true. The formula says keep doing Cntrl-N until you get a planet in the middle of the glaxay with a PQ of 19+. Now, I don't know the seed used in the random map generation nor how many variations of maps their might be, but for rare, huhge or larger, clustered, I suspect that there are not an infinite variaety, so it would be possible to get very similar maps with the formula starting requirements. They may look the same, but are they "in fact" the same. Are all star systems in the galaxy in exactly the same place? We have not heard a definitive statement from Stardock that this has been verified.
Until more detail if provided, I still have my doubts. I have interacted with Loth and others. Stardock is not known for being forthright in its explanations. Look at how long it has taken for us to understand what constitutes an anomolous game input (and we still don't know all that might cause an anonomous game).
