A thing I would like to know is lothmorg's formula for fast MILITARY victories on gigantic maso, and the settings he uses. I guess that 1.13 is important for building all TS in the same turn and going into the red , or using the famous TS fleet bug, but it is tedious (and take some time) to move all constructors at each AI planet.

Since all current formulas for scoring fastly 60K involve Alliance victory and AP for faster effects, I really want to know how he was able to achieve such victories, many times in a day. How long would take a game would be nice too.

BOOM For my 100 game winner medal. They liked that so much they gave me a phantom former 3 place medal

Congrats, ED. The extra metal is consistant with all the other confusion going on in the Meta

No, you can build TS all in one turn on any version of GC. I do it regularly in AP. Build all you constructors, package them up in fleets of five, send them to the system you want to destroy. When all are in place, make sure you have the cost of building the initial SB and the 5,000 bc for the TS and then build all in one turn (actually, you don't need to build them all in one turn, as the AIs don't care about TS in their sectors). On the next turn, destroy all systems, negotiate peace with the dead AI and get as many of his Techs as you can (sometime you can get them all, sometimes none). This also ensures that any alies that AI has don't attack you in the same turn.

Yes, but in 1.13, you haven't the logistic ability, starbase cost nothing to build and you can build the final module of the TS even if you haven't the money

actually PP if you remember correctly amulek bird got his amulek bird technique to go from utilizing the alliance victory to military ones, maybe you should try to get ahold of him and ask him about it, since he said he'd post it later for when we've gotten used to the diplomatic victory strategy since the military one is a bit more complicated.

The claw is starting to look like the CSF graveyard. 5 hours without a post. Who hired Da Moose as the interior designer.

Actually, I think he have been snacking at the Claw. Apparently Guardians tast bestter than others

Da Moose does want moose heads in here so he can camouflage himself better. That is why LW recommends wacking all moose heads with your shield when you walk into a room. LW must have been victim of a tragic snacking himself at some point.

Not yet thankfully, but I've been around long enough to see what happens when one does not watch his backside.

I just ordered AP. It will get here in about one week.
What changes can I Expect?

#13717  by Citizen Evil Druid - 6/21/2004 10:19:42 PM

Loopcub you should just download. You'll get nailed at the border for duty. Made that mistake. Do you have highspeed up in 100 mile?

More races is the main thing, so territory is even tougher. Better scores which is great.

Which reminds me of a question I have, is there a hot key for DONE. It would quicker just to hit a key then moving the mouse all the time.

#13718  by Veteran Gerakken - 6/21/2004 11:01:51 PM

I'm just stopping in between disappearances to partially repost what I said in the Tortuga thread about our lost boys.

"I'll miss Renegade if he chooses to make this vacation permanent. I am not going to say he and Loth are innocent and neither am I going to say they cheated, for I do not have the evidence in front of me to decide that. But I am still going to miss them both, and their guilt or innocence and to what degree cheese vs. cheat ocurred does not change that one bit. They were/are valued members of our forum community and I could care less how high on the Meta they ranked. There are things worth way more than score and having them part company with the forum on such terms as this is not sitting too well with me right now."

I hope that somehow this will all end well. We have lost a lot of old ones over the months for various reasons, but not in this way.
