He cheated and he knew he was doing wrong else he would not have removed/changed a mod to avoid the anomalous trip. It is between him and Stardock now. Were they to ask my opinion it would be to reinstate him sans the maso scores and put a fix in to avoid this.

Well, I guess, I should chime in on this once, and then I'm leaving it alone.

I agree exactly with what Terl has said above. Renegade knew what he was doing was wrong and tried to get away with it. I think that is pretty clear. I also agree that no praise should be given for finding, er hacking, a loophole.

I also don't feel Stardock needs to give a full explanation to anyone, and I feel the accused should be given the chance to defend their selves to Stardock. But what ever the outcome, it all should come down to Stardock's decision, it is their Metaverse. Just my opinion.

Personally, I would like to see Loth and Renegade reinstated, after a period of time, but start back at zero with a firm warning to all from Stardock. I feel this is just, not because I condone cheaters, but because I feel a second chance may be warranted since both are long term members of this community.

And hello to you, Terl! No, I got the jump gate exits right, just the Phantom developed a bit of engine trouble (read as: internet problems on my end) on the way here. That's what I get for having second hand Yor droids fixing the thing. They spend more time trying to upgrade themselves than making sure my gear works when I need it!

Acctually I just got my temperary lisence.So i've been spending less time on GalCiv and more time driving.And a 30 minutes game wont help.I can get down to about 20-25 minutes.

Oh and almost forgot. BOOM!! Thats 200 games.Almost half of which I've submitted this month.

Not only to Guardians own almost 50% of the top 15 slots (7 out of 15), but over 50% of the top 5 slots (3 out of 5)

Sorry to hear that, Kit. There are some good pointers in the Strategies forum and when our Leader pokes his head in from his new job, he can give you access to the Guardians Hall where there are good Masso strategies to help you move up.

But, how ever you want to learn and play - play for fun with an emphasis on doing it leaglly (use all the cheese you want that can fit in your own ethics of how you play), but most of all, have fun.

Oh, one word of warning Kit. Watch out for the undead moose that roams the halls. He is especailly fond of the rear cheaks of Guradians. If you see a moose head on the wall, wack it with you shield and then run like h*ll

I suggest you run like double h*ll if you happen to hit the one without the antlers. You can nenver tell If it's me with broken antlers or 'her'. She's faster than I am and you'll end up missing more than cheek meat.

Let me warn that there are others that you should keep a lookout for. Spymaster, Capt JT Qwerk, and then there is that Pirate guy who will still everything you have - even while you are looking

I'm still kicking Yor butt occasionally moosey.

The events of last weekend put a dent in my enthusiasm, but it looks like I'm going to have to do something about Naqmir pretty soon.

Now that the Euro 2004 football championships are coming towards the end I should get a few more games in.

Naqmir, congrats on the 5th gold bar - I honestly didn't think you'd beat me to that one. Great effort.

Congrats to everyone else I've missed congratulating in the past week or so - especially the "close formation display team" moving up page 1 (although I see Weyrleader has broken formation again - shame on you).
