Having lost 23K for the previous game submitted, that last one lost me another 2K. 
I think there is something wrong when you can submit a "maximum" score and your overall score goes down - there should be something in the calculations that prevents that from ever happening, otherwise what incentive is there to keep playing???

I managed about 25k for a 45k game. That won't happen very often, but it's a nice incentive to throw a game in every once in a while. I was a bit overwhelmed with the thought of climbing another 100k to the top(ish) of page 2 and another 50k-100k beyond that to get on page 1 with games that were only netting me ~6k.

Lead on. I've still got your six. That second game of mine last night/this morning yielded 10k. I'll throw another one in in a couple of days, and that should put me up to about where you are now.
Hve to go for now. I spent the afternoon with my daughter in the emergency room. Some stomach thing going around. Time for me to go make some supper.
