Yup

So I assume you are using normal or aboundant.

Nope I play on rare.If you dont get an event when you colonize you can destroy the colony and recolonize it and youmight have to do it a few time but eventually you will get an event for every planet.I only do it on 12-14 though.

I spent the afternoon with my daughter in the emergency room.

She's keeping food down now, should be fine. Just no way to take her to a doctor on a Sunday, so we went to the ER. Thanks to everyone for asking.

I am sure you feel relief. Glad to hear that she is improving. I hate ERs. We had a friend who thought she was having a heart attack and we took her to the ER. 11 hours later she saw doctor. Fortunately it was not a heart attach. Then they wanted her to take a stress test. What more stress could they have in mind than waiting 11 hours to see a doctor?

Yeah, I would like to figure out some way I could trade him mine. I want a Pure blue smiley, but cannot generate enough events to get one. I have tried some suggestions, but I think I misunderstood what I was told. I will try the following: For one of the planets I colonize, I will destroy it and recolonize it to get an event. I will do this up to 12-14 times. I assume that the event stays applied even if the colony is destroyed. Minicolony ship, here I come

Correct.Once a planet gets an event you cannot get another one.It only works when you dont get an event the first time you colonize.

Ahhhh.My favorite ship.Makes it alot easier in the later game to colonize new planets and not have a billion or so colonists.

Hello Guardians! It's been a while since I've been able to check in. I'm sorry to see I still sit atop the Meta (was hoping Loth and Mayito would be back).

I'm still trying to resolve my personal situation but will try to get a game in soon (I hope).

I don't have time to catch up on the thread so I hope everyone is doing okay. I'd appreciate it if someone could update me as to recent (important) happenings in the Metaverse.

Not much happening lately. A few of us are still manning the walls. Been a while since we heard from our Emperor. Naqmir is burning up the charts with his 20-30 minute games. Diplomats moved to a new, nicer forum, and have offered to allow us to move with them. I think we should, but we need to have a decision made to do it.

Our part of it is. The Diplomats have left it up, but locked down all the topics in the public forums and in their parts, but we can still log in and use the Guardian Halls. To be honest, we don't post much over there anymore. I think if we moved, the public forums would help draw us back to posting in our own halls again. I think the biggest concern is porting over the existing threads, at least the ones we want to keep.

naqmir, am I to assume that since you are playing scarce, that you colonize low pq planets to milk them of planet colonization events? And then destroy them so you don't support them?

I colonize all planets in the range of 12-14(since I havent already colonized them) and if they give me an event I pick the evil choice and move closer to pure evil.If they dont give me an event I rush build a colony ship.Next turn I launch all the pop. and destroy the colony.Wait a turn and then recolonize the same planet.I repeat this untill I have passed the pure evil mark.Once you are given an event though it wont give you another so I usually have to colonize 3-5 lower PQ planets.Also I havent noticed a planet less than PQ 12 give an event.I also dont destroy them b/c of the maintenance.Its to close to the end of the game for me to worry about it.
