Good morning!

Thanks for dropping in, Spymaster Gerakken! It's always a pleasure to be visited by the most famous spy of them all!

I'm going to try resending those emails. Yahoo! Mail doesn't seem to be the most stable of email clients.

Greldon: That is a bummer. Alex should certainly be informed of that problem. I'll let him know.

Howdy, Bakka! Hey, do me a favor...can you quote your famous line I like so much? "Bite me, I'm bad!"

Hello Guardians! Just thought I'd pay a visit, say hello, and belly up to the bar with Theoden for a while.... Looks like all is well at the Raven's Claw

#135  by Veteran Theoden of Rohan - 2/12/2004 2:02:27 PM

Welcome, Terl! It's been a while since you've had a Torian Tornado. I'll fix one right up for you. How do you like the decor of the Guardian's Grog?

#136  by Veteran Terl - 2/12/2004 2:14:26 PM

Quite nice actually. I like the Drengin dancing, wait, those are girls????

Long days at work.... I had to arrange a data feed from another company, schedule it to occur each day at 4am. Now I have to build databases to manipulate that data after setting up automated reports, imports, ah the list goes on. They do not seem to understand how much they cut into my forum time Stupid RL and work...

Isn't it sad how companies demand all this information? My company asks for a bunch of reports as well...and they usually wind up sitting on the big guys desk for weeks!

Luckily mine are actually used. I work at an insurance company and they are open claims, so they get looked at daily. I like building the databases though. If I could just get the darned sounds to work in Access...

We get a lot of request like this too but we have compared notes and know who doesn't actually use/read what they demanded to be done in short order. I especially enjoy hours of programming after they are "sure" that what they requested is what they really wanted, only to find out they needed another data element or more calculations added You just want to scream "Go! No soup for you!" like the soup guy from Seinfeld.

I have concerns about you, Terl...

Soup Nazi!!! That was a great episode...

I thought everyone did

I really do like building databases, though. They let me add graphics and such (I wish I could get the sounds to work though) so it takes away from the tedium. I only have experience with MS Access which is sort of easy anyway.

Hey, what is up with Mayito again? I saw in the Diplomat's thread he was going to quit playing again...

#141  by Veteran Disciple777 - 2/12/2004 2:40:22 PM

Internet problems again.

I can only post from work now.

Supposed to be able to do it, but I have not figured it out. It is probably for the best though as most don't have speakers anyway. It is just one of those "I saw the toy now I want to make it work" things

Internet problems again.

Bummer. I saw the problem in another thread after I already posted here. Hey, Juno is less than $10 a month (the speedband thing is just a cache program not worth the extra $ IMHO). Just check the access numbers closely and call your phone company first (especially after I saw your post...holy cow!) to make sure.

I am trying, that is why I asked for the Masso walkthru, I will not be able to post games so often, so I want to get the max of points I can get to help The Diplomats.

Downie's is not mine to give. There are some great walkthroughs and advice in the strategies forum though. Have you tried those? Just paste them into a Word document and print it out.

#147  by Veteran Disciple777 - 2/12/2004 2:57:03 PM

They are just general things, basic strategies, don't worry I will wait for Matthew to see if he wants to give it.

Excerpts from the father's message

How old are you?... He says that you are pretty!!! He is a lucky boy, and you are a lucky girl. I know that he spends too much time talking to you on the internet... but I don't mind... so good luck with my son, love he, he is a good boy....

PS: The father is clueless, he cannot understand why his son spends 12 hours in the computer each day, he thinks the boy has a girlfriend...
