Odd indeed. I think Mag or LW fixed it the last time.

I had fun this weekend...reformatted the ol' pc and installed xp pro. I then had the fun of getting SDC and AP all over again ('cause I'm shortsighted and did not burn a cd before I reformatted

). Of course the one thing that hurts more is I forgot to save my Morrowind save... luckily I wasn't too terribly far along..

Of course it is all part of a Yor conspiracy! They were the first to go last night as the hapless little buggers started right next to me. The nice part is they died by their own transports which they sold to me the previous turn. Stinkin' Yor

Most of my "forum time" used to be while at work. After they took away one position my workload has rocketed. I have dial-up at home so I am not online too often; playing games more than surfing.

The work has evened out a bit so I will be here more often but there will be bits of time when I can't get on due to deadlines and such. Everyone just has to have a danged database for something

If it isn't a databse then it is report development. But, it does pay the bills

I am blessed to have a boss that does not mind us being on the internet as long as deadlines are not missed. I am very thankful for that.

The company I work for is nationwide. They are consolidating lots of activities here so we pick up more and more as these events unfold. It is fun keeping track of what goes on what server too

I am having trouble submitting a game from a different computer than I normally use. I asked CariElf to help me find out why the game would not submit. One of her replies was the following:

Also, there are other scores there with your old serial number. You should run the conversion thingy from the metaverse page. There are instructions there.

I must be blind, but I cannot find the conversion "thingy" on the Metaverse page. Does anyone know where this "thingy" is?

At the top when you view the metaverse rankings, there is a link "register player". Click it. The conversion info is on that page. It is not in SDC but on the website.

On the page you will see your player name and gal civ key. Scroll down and you will see the spot to enter your total gaming reg code. Enter that and press convert...

Actually, I had to re-register my original GC SN. My AP SN it thinks is invalid. So, I re-register my player with original GC SN. It tells me that I am registered. Then, hit register player again and the conversion slot is now available. So, I entered my TogalGaming.net SN and converted the original GC games. I had some time ago converted the AP games. This netted me an additional 13,439 points. I tried to do it agina with my AP SN, but it still thinks it is invalid. Oh, and the convertion routine does not finish correctly, either I get a page with a 0 in the upper left corner or I get a time out message for the script.

Hi all!

I just wanted to thank you all for making me an Honorary Guardian. I am touched.

I have been down at the lake house for the past few weeks. The weather here in Kansas City has been amazing, if not a little weird. Most days the high only reached the upper 70s, low 80s. Just incredible. Although, it has me a little concern how the winter is going to end up.

Back to reality, i cant go to sleep... i am toooo worried about my results tomorrow....i mean today!!!

I am already gathering info on clearing courses, i hope i dont have to use it, though!!

i have to wake up in 6 hours, from now, to go and get "The Independent" it got all info on results and Clearing... then i have to make my way to College see my results... then i have to phone every uni, i applied to make sure that i got in to any... if YES Woo-hoo! if NOT, then its clearing.... Wish me Good luck!!! I mean results are results nothing can be changed, but hey!
