Is that shown in the red/black top of your black shield? Or is it a reference to something else?

Just a joke referring to the ancient practice of putting a notch in ones shield or sword for every enemy killed. Helps you keep count, and intimidate potential adversaries.

Loop, go to the Metaverse page and a button on the left, just above the Top Empires button you will see a Galactic Map button. Mouse over the empires on the map to get the percentage of the map they occupy.

That is on the metaverse page (Tab on the top of page), look to the left navigation bar...the top black button is the "Galactic Map" button. This shows the distribution of empires over the metaverse.

I believe the reason that a large part of the "Galaxy" remains dark is because this reflects the existence of empires not in the top 10. I do not know why the fellowship holds a higher % than the diplomats though. Curious...

Ric only submits once every 3 or 4 days. One a day should move ED onward and upward. I am holding number 4 slot for him (his goal was number 5, but I just upped it for him)

Has anyone figured out why the nickname is not at the top of the activity list for each player any more. Both my nickname and avatar had disappeared and I had to reload my avatar, but I am still just "Citizen" at the top of the window. Click on a name in any post and see what I mean.

Yeah, i just looked at the raw meta scores site (Is that the altmeta site?), and you each submitted 16 games last month, and your out pacing him this month.

I just did it Weyr, and it shows a dragon avatar, and above it the name Weyr2!?!
ED, no avatar, just that white box with an X in it, above it says Druid.

Yeah, that is the name of the avatar. But there used to be just after Citizen, the nickname, so that the top line read "Citizen Weyrleader"

I was away most of last month on two week vacation and extended weekends away. Now my kids are back in school and my wife has stopped talking to me I'll have plenty of time to keep my game a day pace.
