We have a fair amount of scotches. I'll point you to a link to show what all is available in my state.

http://www.cis.state.mi.us/lcc_code/sr_lcc.asp Link

In the field where it asks Liquor Type, grab the SCOTCH heading and hit Submit.

After reading through that list, I found all the ones I tried:

Glenfiddich 12 YR
Glenkinchie
Dalwhinnie
Talisker

I might have to swim, because I can't afford a boat ride or plane.

LW just save up your empties and return for deposit. I'd give it 6 months at your current rate of consumption.

Should have figured you would have already tapped such a lucrative source of income as your own bottle empties.

Boom!

Hey guys, I will be away from my computer from Saturday through Wednesday. My father passed away thie morning and the Funeral is this coming Tuesday in California. May not post much between now and Saturday either due to other issues that have to be taken care of. I may get in a few games and will announce with a Boom.

Hey Weyr, I'm so sorry that happened; I'm sure he was a good man. (Sorry if that sounded corny, but that's the best I could think of.)

Dennis,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. If there's anything I or any of us can do for you, you only have to ask. Take care, and come back soon.

ED, it's up to us during these few days to NOT miss a day. I vow to double up during this time, even if I have to send my kids to "quiet time... "

Dennis... I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

#16747  by Citizen Weyrleader - 9/23/2004 5:43:38 AM

Guys, you are all great. Thanks for your concern. I do appreciate it. My father was 88 and had been failing so it was not unexpected. He was, as most parents are, a great man in my eyes (not perfect, just great).

#16748  by Citizen littlewotts_ - 9/23/2004 5:46:23 AM

Dennis,

I am sorry to hear about your loss. My greatest fear in life is losing my father. As Hank said, if there is anything you need, just ask.

Weyrleader, I am very sorry for your loss.

I lost mine last year. He was only 65 and had been retired for only 6 months.
