You know, that's so messed up. At 18 I could go to the t-tty bar, but couldn't drink. I still don't go to see the 'ballet' (waste of money), but I do have friends that live there.

If you're bored, then this isn't the post you're looking for, move along, move along
lap dances rather than laptops. |

One last thought, "Why not both?" A bit of the double bite of the cherry.
I heard the "double bite" line from a guy showing us around in the church at Salsbury (sp?) in England. It was a must stop as it contains one of the original copies of the Magna Carta (me chills). I was there in September in the mid to late 90's (I won't mention the year to avoid any unpleasantness). We toured Buckingham Palace (more chills) (it was available because the Windsor had fire damage and was not in play). Lots of touristy stuff too. I'm a big fan of British humor (2 ronnies, Python, Bean, Ullman, some B. Hill if it's not too too silly).
As an aside, my ancestors are from England. The family historian (a librarian in Nebraska) traces us to Sussex County. My line is Brit-Scot or Scot-Brit. Strange too, both me and my brother were instantly drawn to British humor Before we found out the family lineage details. Also, my Dad used to race Triumph motorcycles in the 50's and 60's.
Added aside,we visited England as part of a 3+ week, 4 person custom-made tour. We visited Munich, Rudesheim (think Rhine), Lucerne, Den Hague, Brugges, Paris and of course London, England. While we were in Den Hague we made a side trip to Amsterdam. Have I told you of my 18 hours in Amsterdam? nudge-nudge, know-what-I-mean

There's a couple of cozy spots over at the crypt if you need them... |

Maybe after I go golfing. I here there's a nice '19th hole' over there.

loopcub, you will be missed by all of us. Please come back and chat when you can.
As for retiring, you don't need to do anything. Just leave yourself be a member and stop submitting games. I personally would prefer it if you stayed with us, even if you no longer wish to play. If, however, you feel that you must leave the Guardians, there is a button at the bottom of the empire page that says "Leave Empire". If you click it, you will no longer be a member of the empire. It's the same one you clicked to become a member. Either way, we will still consider you a member in spirit, and you will always be welcome to return to chat or to play again.
Oh, one more thing. You may wish to change your name to loopcub(retired). To do that, go to this link Link Click Edit Account, then select "Change your nickname".
