Well, I took a short break and made sure all the Political parties in the mod folder are consecutively numbered with no gaps (I did have a gap, but this did seem to affect anything). In any case, I didn't have time to start up GC from scratch and check it out so I will do that tomorrow.

NON-Boom? What happened to my game? the submission screen reported a 60K win, yet it skipped quickly to the main menu page. I've tried to re-submit it three times, to no avail. I'm sure this map is different then my previous few (I've never tried to create one before), unless is so resembles one from long ago that it is giving me an anomolous flag.

Has anyone experienced this before?

The only custom maps that can be submitted are ones created by Stardock.

Weyr has been spending time hidden in his lab. After the last failure in cloning LW multiple times, he was searching for a new idea to restore his repuration (assuming he had one at all)

With the increase emphasis in the Meta about being friendly to Yor, shurly something must be done to stem the tide of univeralism that all are equal to humans.

So, with new technology introduced by world famous scientist, Icho the Great, Wery has developed a new weapon based upon subatomic particles rays that are specifically tuned to stop in artificially intelligent brains. Wery has named this new invention the Roy Gun. Available now under the moose head in the Claw.

LW, did you meant to have two ids both connected with the Guardians. I ask this because while it is not a big deal it could open the door for proliferation. I am definitely NOT a proponent of the following hypothetical situation:

(1) Take Tech for example and divide his games per month into 4-9 game chunks spread over as many new ids (15-30). Within a few months he would have about 15-30 million points singlehandedly. Singlehandedly is really a misnomer as he would have 15-30 hands in verse.

I feel I can say this because I don't care much about the points. I care some but in the scheme of things they are more a cause of friendly competition and barbs

rather than
anything RL impacting. I respect those that take them more seriously for as you know I have a "To each their own" philosophy.

If bringing up the clone situation causes grief then I am sorry for the grief but my value system necessitates this message. For this I am not sorry. What's the worst thing that can happen? I know, make me the first person assasinated in Meta.

Oops, already been there. I have noted no less than 12 instances where my message was misread for some reader fueled "hidden" meaning. I stand before you as the most misread person in the verse.

Nope. I had a bunch of sved games, and was submitting them one per day. Maybe the last one was already submitted? I don't think so, but I'll just scrap it and move on to the next one.

I am definitely NOT a proponent of the following hypothetical situation:

LW is not going to submit any new games to the old LW and he is going to let it fade away. He had lost interest in the old LW and wanted to start over. Others have done it in the past, with different names, so not quite as noticeable as our clone LW.

Your scenerio has been done to my understanding, but by no one as prolific as Tech, so no one notices or cares. The reasoning had nothing to do with more points, I might add, just different morality. Most of us have a hard enough time supporting 1 player, little mind multipul.

LW earned his points and should be allowed to keep them until they die a slow natural death, he did play the games.

I've also ytaken on the challenge of reaching one million points with the least amount of games. So i'll only be playing 5-6 games a month, based on PP's scoring thesis. I do have two games that are lost in the meta right now. My original user should have 89 games. I shold email Carielf about that. Or, I could submit my final game under that user to reach an even 90.

ED, LW thanks for the explanation. As you know, I don't hold my points (the few I have) up for anything. I do respect those that do though, so I felt I would be remiss not to mention the situation. I also feel he should keep the points for the 1 game for the guardians. I say this even though y'all are planning to shoot poor Roybot.
