As the hasitly appointed lawyer for the late Weyrleader, I have posted a notice for his estate sale.

Estate Sale
In the last will and testament of Weyrleader, he left his R&D lab to Newfy, as he seemed to be able to utilize the lab best after hours and on weekends.

All previously patented weapon systems have been donated to the Preserve the Yor Society as they would best know how to use them and keep them out of the wrong hands.

All Moose protection equipment he leaves to any who would like them. They are available free under the moose head in the Claw. As supply is used up, Weyr has established a foundation to fund the manufacture of more so that none may be left behind, (or was that the right behind

)

Weyr requests that his shield be buried with him, as the Guardians were dear to his heart.

Wow, so this is what the lab looks like when the lights are on?!?!

Opens a closet door ... another door that looks like a huge door to a safe. Locked

looks around checks on the bottom of the almost dead plant and voila, 3 turns left stop at 36, 2 turns right stop at 24, 1 turn left stop at 35.

Safe opens, light turns on, ....

there is a bed with someone sleeping on it that looks like LW he is chained to the bed. Across the room I see another bed and ... blur ... I am knocked down. Somebody (something) just ran out of the room ... they are gone ...

I go back and investigate that now empty bed

Oh My God ... there is an empty human skin that looks like ... Weyrleader!

In the back of the skin there is a zipper lock seal almost like the type found on sandwich bags. The skin feels real but ...

I will check Weyr's lab notes and find out what I can. Who was in that room, why were they wearing that Weyrleader skin?

I have a small question for Weyrleader/PassingBye: Why have you choosen to submit with a new player? To have only 60K games and experience a rapid progression in the metaverse ladder ?

I think it is because ... having 1 player ID as retired and then having another player ID active playing on the same empire allows that empire to maintain its huge lead in the Metaverse.

Weyr was terminated and is no more.

Once you get to 2nd there is no place to go except retire. Chasing tech is like going after a jet fighter with a bi-plane. Hopefully starting over will Weyr motivated to carry on. I myself was wondering what to do once I got behind tech and weyr. When you focus on the meta for so long it is the game.

Newfie, please, control your devious mind.

Would not the extra gain be short term as the old score ages and the new player score square roots itself out. Soon your games would be worth the same as if you were playing the old player. Any way the motivation is personal enjoyment not empire motivated.

Sure, but the aging takes a long time to occur, and in some cases it seems like it never starts until a submission is made months later.

Any way the motivation is personal enjoyment not empire motivated.

I gues it may sound as if I was upset but I am not. The metaverse was designed to work this way so there is nothing wrong with 1 person having 2 active players.

I know, thats what I love about your nature. That's the whole point is to have fun and you have got it down pat.

I had an idea where we would create two empires. 1 of active and 1 of retired. When you retire you move to the old empire.

I believe in the 12 month theory. It starts once your 1st game is 12 months old. Greldon should start to show decay next month according to this theory so I hope to catch our legend then.

(Weyr's anniversery is Nov 19/03 so any advantage will be short term. I might get to 2nd without much effort.)

I, know I meant I believe scores of inactive accounts start to decay at the 1 year anniversary. A lot of our legends and your old self are hitting thier 1 year anniversary in the next few weeks so will be subject to decay. Just trying to be funny, not really concerned.

Weyr's ghost most have BOOM! a couple into his account instead of mine.

It must be something that Ghosts can do. I noticed the GH moved up in the ranks several position since he bacame a ghost. Wonder who's games he scaring into his pile?
