19.8M for the GG Metaverse score - rapidly approaching 19M - another FIRST for the Galactic Guardians. This should happen next week some time. We should have a moose meat bar b que.

Oh, we will also set up a shooting range for you all to practice your RoyGuns. Hey Roy, want to come out an play?

ED, Congrats on 2M!

And, not exactly departed, just transitioned to an altered state (Pennsylvania)...

And PB, I completely deny amd refuse to discuss any game stealing until my lawyers are presented with the evidence

Man, the forums are glitchy tonight. Spooky...

We're behind you all the way - way behind you

Sounds like an adjective for me (32?). Congrats ED. Would have said it sooner but after church I spent the day raking up some of the leaves PB was talking about. You and the rest of the seasoned players are an inspiration to the new guys!

Wonder whose score will break the barrier?

Congrats to ED!
Congrats to ED!

Congrats to ED!
And of course... Congrats to ED!

Sorry I've been so quiet the last couple of days, no kids this weekend, so I decided to go out and play! I am also troubled in that my attempt to get a BH win is apparently unsuccessful (I researched all the way to final frontier before anyone else and expected to see a movie...) and am now in the process of converting it into a Military win.

Did you remember to turn on he victory condition to allow for that?

BOOM When I loaded my endsavegame the Korx said the Altarians were attacking the minor Alexians and I was honor bound to join the Korx and the Alexians. They asked would I honor the alliance. Never had this happen before. I answered Yes and won the game with click of turn. I assume if I answered no, I would have broke my alliance with the Korx. So if this ever happens to you, the answer is yes, honor the alliance. I thought maybe my answer would result in war with the Altarians, but it did not.

Actually, it probably did, but since they are a minor it doesn't matter. Even if you find that when in an alliance with a major, if they force you into war, you don't have to do anything. You can wait a few turns and ask for peace and usually get it.

18.9 M for Galactic Guardian metaverse score. Keep the games comming, we are on our way to 19M and a party.

Congrats to ED, the newest Guardian legend!

Morning Guardians!

Please forgive me, as I'm about to climb up on my soapbox. Please be patient, it's non-partisan.

I'm Genghis Hank, and I aprove the following message:

Election time is apon us that live in the USA. This is probably the most divisive election campaign that I've ever lived through. I know many of you have strong feelings for one canidate or the other. If you are like me, it's probably strong negative feelings. Historically, it is very easy to use negative campaigning, but very hard to motivate someone to go vote "against" something. We usually want to go vote "for" something. Well, I want to give you something to go vote for.

As the 2000 election showed us, a few votes, or a few hundred votes DO matter. And there are plenty of people in the process that would rather that they don't. So, please use your right and privlage to vote in this election. If you don't use your right to choose your elected officals, others will do it for you.

I am not advocating one cannidate or the other (well, at least not in this forum), just vote. Vote third party or write in if you can't stomach either Bush or Kerry. Again, if you don't use your right to vote, it will be used by others.

Thank you for reading this.

Yes, turned off all conditions except for alien technology win. I thought that perhaps it was due to my having the omega and halut mods...not sure though. (And that is by no means an implication of Icho, I love these mods!!!)

#17673  by Citizen Chipperoo - 11/1/2004 1:03:28 PM

GH is right. The most powerful way we can express our support or our opinion is through our vote. GO VOTE!!!

#17674  by Citizen PassingBye - 11/1/2004 1:12:26 PM

And if you don't know who to vote for, let me introduce you to the Mrs. She will tell all you need to know and why!
