Well, I went and voted today. I don't see why more people do ge out there and do it. It's quick and easy |
|
Agree. I also voted when the polls opened at 6am here in VA. Shortly after people were in line for an hour to get to vote.

No lines for me. Voted at lunchtime. Any predictions on the winners? The feeling I got from watching a little of MSNBC is that it's breaking for Kerry.

If the popular vote does not side with the end-decision vote, I think there is likely to be some very unhappy folks in the streets. |
|
I think however the election ends, even if the popular and electorial votes match, about half the country is going to think the other side stole the election. I think the next four years are going to be a strain on the nation, and that it may take a generation for the wounds of 2000 and this year to heal.
MSNBC is liberal. What does Fox news say? |
|
Don't know, but I had Rush Limbaugh on for the drive in and he is (not unexpectedly) saying that the Dems are desperate and going to loose big. I don't know if there is any such thing as unbiased in the media today. Sad.

From foxnews.com:
Bushes, Clintons, other politicians go to polls alongside average citizens; Kerry back in Boston to cast his own vote |
|
Are we still voting 1992?

EDIT: How do I get that little link thingy to show up? |
|
Just put in the address like
http: // www.somelink.com
without the spaces and the forum will convert it to the link icon.

When do the actual result start to come in. |
|
Preliminaries start as soon as polls close (on the West cost) so probably 9 or 10 pm East coast time.
| |
|
Early exit polls, if they can be believed. Don't follow the link if you haven't voted yet...
