Parents??? Thats my mid atlantic translaton any way. And I am always here in spirit. Challange Athena seems to be acting up (our servers go through the satelitte on the pier we are at) so I don't get to lurk from the ship. I did not mean to throw a stick at a hornets nest about Tech's unusual AP game, I just thought is, well unusuall, so I asked. No ganes tonight. Bought Chronicles of Riddick. Gonna be watching that with the better half. If its anywhere near as good as Pitch Black I'll be happy. Oh, and there is always next year E.D.

I liked Pitch Black. My wife always finds something else to do when I get a good SiFi movie other then to tell me to turn down the surround sound.

I ust sent the kids to bed so I am going to have to keep my surround down to. Although "down" is subjective as it is a 2000 watt Sony system I picked up in Japan 2 yrs ago. I am fortunate in that my wife has given in to my delight in Sci-Fi.

Lights off... check
All three remotes... check

Plasma scares me. Heard lots of horor stories of single pixel burning out and driving you nuts. 10 year half life even if everything goes well.

Also due to pool table my maximum distance from tv is only 10 feet.

I'm leaning towards DLP projection though the old CRT projections are the cost of a normal TV but I probably would not be happy with that.
