What is your record. Mine is a at 52 minutes.

30 minutes including time it took to find a starting galaxy. I do 35 to 40 consistently, including the time it take to get a fresh beer.

New computer those turns should just blink by. I have read people have won in 20 minutes but they never said 60K maso.

My 52 was done while drinking rum through a straw. My average is 65 to 90. I have to many games on my desktop so its kinda s l o w. Pretty much stick to the laptopn now. I don't know what its specs are or even how to find them but it does fairly well.

Okay, I thought about it for almost an hour. Chip what does
AAR
stand for.

For a real quick game you find a place in the middle and let eveyone come to you. You follow Naqmir's strategy and you very quickly win. Other then to bribe aliens you just ignore everyone and click turn and follow your own path.

It is gets boring though, so other then the 1st couple of times I played it to understand it, I don't play that way. I bet you could get a 20 min 60 k masso on a very good computer using it though.

After Action Report...Maybe

ED is correct.

It doesn't NEED to have all the military terminology, since many of us don't understand it all, but we like the info none-the-less

Fantastic report, there FC. I have put you in to our superiors for a commendation medal for the Battle of Starbord Yor. Keep it up and you will be leaning to the left with all those medals.

#18613  by Citizen littlewotts - 12/18/2004 9:46:42 AM

Damn I love the Navy!

I think you need to be writing a little story.

#18614  by Citizen Cetane - 12/18/2004 10:55:16 AM

BOOM.

Mess is served on the flight deck

That would be called a Steel Beach Picnic. We do those alot on long slow transits; Straights of Gibralter, Suez Canal, Straights of Hormuz.

After Action Report

{Bangs head with right palm} Dunce cap here please

It doesn't NEED to have all the military terminology, since many of us don't understand it all, but we like the info none-the-less

I'll try to define the ones that people would not generally know. TAO=Tactical Affairs Officer. DCA=Damage Control Assistant. Central Control=The hub of the ship(deep center to avoid damage). MMR=Main Machinery Room(propulsion) CIWS/RAF=Really big freaking guns(6000 rounds/minute,8 missles in 8 seconds)

I think you need to be writing a little story

Just where did I out the creativity hat? I can sell ice to eskimos and sand to an arab but writing is not really one of my strong points. Maybe I can add to the stories already out there.

#18615  by Citizen littlewotts - 12/18/2004 11:05:14 AM

Maybe the lack of military gibberish on my part makes it sound cool. I still have a story arc to finish. Problem being I am not quite shure how o wrap it up. Most of the people in it are now gone, and I'd be remiss to leave out the new players.

Well my attempt to put galciv on new computer hit snag. I/o error it said. corrupt installation file. Something does not like galciv, maybe.

Was using CD to install now downloading zip install see if that helps. Pretty slow comming down the pipe.

Is that the new version thing

ED, I have 1.52 and I can't type numbers in the slider higher than 50. Never tried typing in anything lover than 50. I just dran the slider, but the wheel works fine in 1.52. Maybe try to reconfigure your mouse under settings???
