Tough game. The Arceans got diplomatic trans 1st and were out of the game before I made contact with them to trade for it. Then my major planet I'd built all my major social culture flipped on me, but I hung in there and played it out for victory.

Sounds like that was an exciting game. I've never had anyone beat me to getting Diplo Translators before. I imagine the bribing at the end was interesting without it.

Actually it was not to bad, as no one else had it niether and I research all the yellow diplomacy techs.

I get it 1st only about 1/2 the time as I get GSE first and have to trade for dip trans as soon as I can. I don't think the aliens will trade Diplo trans to anyone else or the aliens don't care enough to pay for it, so it almost the same as getting it.

Loosing my major Social capital planet with my manu capital was a way bigger problem. It did not hurt my research so much but trade goods and improvements took forever.

My error was I ended up sharing a sector so I should have built all my stuff on my Earth instead. But my planet was a 22 upgraded to 26 and its was a 16 to start so I though I could hold on. I was even dumping money into propaganda but she still turned on me.

I had also gotten all the influence wonders up to propaganda machine so go figure.

Someone stole my last game. I tried three times to submit it and it is no where to be found. Weyr did not take it. In fact, Weyr is strange. He stole a game a few weeks ago and it was there and now its not. The last game he submitted was in Nov.
