Choas and Chief talk like they are like, the same person. Very wierd.

No, they can't be

It is beginning to seem that to be a Guardian you have to have a split personality.

#19234  by Citizen Evil Druid - 2/14/2005 6:53:51 PM

Worse, compared to a slightly "Tech" altered Yor with an evil disposition

Yeah what he said...

#19237  by Citizen Evil Druid - 2/14/2005 7:32:22 PM

Well its a horrible story really. Tech tried to convince us the Yor's could be useful so he altered a few Yor's into Roy's. You see Yor = Roy. For a time things went well. Roy brought Tech beer on command and was even fitted with a fancy stereo system for Tech's enjoyment.

Despite the Guardians warnings the experiment look quite successful. Then it happened. Do to a horrible malfuntion then normal Roy became Evil Roy. Tech tried to turn him off but the remote control no longer functioned. Some believe the problem was caused when Roy began drinking the beer himself instead of just serving Tech. Us Guardians believe that all Yor are evil and despite Tech's alterations Roy's are hard wired to be evil and it was just all a matter of time.

I don't know how you could have missed all this.

Thre are 770 pages here. It's a lot to go through.

#19239  by Citizen Magician of Black Chaos - 2/14/2005 8:11:14 PM

Another boom for the alter ego...

I knew that all yor and roy were evil incarnate.
Did not realize that Evil Roy and Tech were the same person. So I guess that makes Tech, Lord evil Steve too.

Or am I still confused.

They say every time a sailor goes around the Cape of Good Hope they leave half of there personality in the ocean they are leaving and the other half goes with them into the other ocean. Seeing how I have done this 7 times it leads to the multiplicity and a steadly degraded mental state thus compounding the issue.

Try to tell it to me with little words. Maybe I can get it then. Can't believe I have been here since Oct and still don't know what is going on...

#19240  by Citizen Evil Druid - 2/14/2005 8:16:17 PM

No you had it right. Tech is just a tech. Evil is evil. Roy is a Yor. Tech does not have time to be anyone else.

#19241  by Citizen Magician of Black Chaos - 2/14/2005 8:22:02 PM

Roy = Yor
Yor = Roy

Yeah I know that. Thanks for the small words. I am not nearly as confused as I once was.

Next question. If I posted 90 60K games in 30 days what would my score be, with today being the first day of submission???

Next question. If a person posted 90 60K games in one month what would there score be???

A lot.

#19243  by Citizen Magician of Black Chaos - 2/14/2005 8:31:57 PM

With no aging penality. Looks like (start, programs, accessories, calculator) 5.4 mil. I don't kow if there is a recalc penality from day to day with in the first 30 day block.

PB, when you started (PB profile) did you suffer daily recalcs or was your score not penalized your first 30 days?

#19244  by Citizen Evil Druid - 2/14/2005 8:39:56 PM

If I recall what Peace said the answer is no. Next 30 is 5%.

Roughly....

Your Metaverse scores are divided into blocks of 30 days from the most recent submitted game. Each block is divided by the square root of the number of games in it, and discounted by 5% per complete block of 30 days before it. These scores are then added to give your metaverse score.

Alex

Here I knew I could find it somewhere.

So your 5.4 mil would come to roughly 568,000 I think.

Interesting discussion about alter ego's. Mine is Cadmann Weyland, I have no idea who Evil Roy is. My alter has no submissions and he rarely posts, but since its becoming so popular, he may start posting again.

oh, and BOOM!, that one was cake!!!

AAR-

Starting grid is 7 x 7 tiles. Top right tile has Sobek-Re, a juicy class 26!!! Earth is class 20 with Sol IV class 16 thrown in for good measure. Single class 15 one tile to the south. Bottom left tile has single class 16, and one tile to the southeast of that (Just out of reach, for now!) is a system with 2 class 16 planets!!! No AI in the immediate vicinity so it appears like a golden opportunity to grab all of these suckers.

1st colony ship to top right system, second ship to corner of bottom left system, third ship to system in the bottom left corner, fourth ship to tile just south of Sol system. All systems set to build constructors, Military 40%, Social 20%, Research 40%. Comm Theory, Univ Trans, Diplomacy, Trade. Switch all but two planets to freighters (3 now ready next month). I needed one constructor to add range to reach the Mutes in sector 0-27, and wanted the other to try and grab a research anomoly one tile from Sobek-Re. Med Theory, Basic Env Control, Ind Theory, Prop theory, Cold Fusion. Treasury now around 300BC, spending to 60%, losing about 8BC/month. Inters Refining, Weapons Theory, then yellows techs, Phasers, Imp Drive, Zero-G Research, then back to yellows until Conglomerates.

I managed to grab the double system that was originally just out of range by about 5 turns from the Torian's, set that one build another colony ship for the other class 16 in that system.

Bribe ET immidiately to Friendly with comm theory (!), Medical theory, and Basic Env Control. All freighters and two constructors built, Military 10%, Social 30%, Research 60%. Send one constructor to expand to the Korx, the other to the Research anomoly. Grab the anomoly from the Carnivores with a bribe and cruise on home. Managed to build a Halutian Embassy (See Omega or Halut Pack by Icho Tolot) in December of 2179. Also got Diplomatic Translators, Aphrodisiac (Don't build that too soon!), Eyes of the Universe (personal Favorite), Galactic Exhibition, Gravity Accelerators, Harmony Crystals, Micro-Repair Bots, Propoganda Machine, Restaurant of Eternity, Tir-Quan Training, Union Jacks (I forgot what they're really called), and VR Modules.

Come 2190 I had 4 of the AI already at Close! Wish they were all that easy. Oh, and be careful of the "new" asteroid field I made of the Yor worlds!

For Honor and Justice
