I would like to say a hello to everyone at GalCiv, what an awesome game and what a great bunch of people in this gaming community. Ive been lurking around the forums a fair bit the last week and love the mateship, good fun and good joking around that Ive seen on these forums. Im a beginner to this game and am still learning a fair bit.
This isnt probably the best place to introduce myself to the GalCiv Community but I want to kill 2 YORS with one phaser blow so to speak, because Im very keen on joining The Galactic Guardians Empire and so wished to introduce my self to King Theoden of Rohan and his Overlords first, as well as introduce myself to everyone else.
Ive been reading alot about the different empires and decided I would feel most at home with the Galactic Guardians  Ive read alot of stuff posted by Theoden of Rohan and am impressed with his activeness with the game and his new empire, not to mention his hatred of the Yor which I can relate to.
I also need to greet the owner of the fine "Prancing Pony" and see if I can establish a bar Tab as Im running low on gold. Nothing like a good ale  after a Yor killing spree on the front lines of galactic conquest, also a dance with the bar maids and a kiss and cuddle wont hurt as long as the bar mistress dont give me the evil eye for dancing with her serving girls.
Hope you dont mind beginners joining up I dont know how much I can contribute at first, but in time Im confident I will get better under the guidance of the Galactic Guardians. 
Now I need to to go back to reading through the 75 pages of this thread to get up to date! Cheers.

Maybe I am wrong and you all are right, I have learned in life that when you are the only one that thinks that you are right and the rest think that you are wrong, then maybe you need to rethink what you are saying and maybe I am wrong. In my last job I was a service tech so I did lots of driving. I don't know what it's like outside the Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois area, but if it's like here I bet you all hate driving like I do. It's not uncommon for traffic to be going 80-85 and everybody's tailgating like mad. Or in Detroit, where it's the same, just 4 and 5 lanes wide. I hate driving.

One of the bonuses to joining the Guardians is you get all the Torian Tornados you want for free! They are a little strong, though so watch out!
