Why Centurions, Guardians and Jedi should be the only that can take round number?

Thats the best way to go, sometimes I need reminding where those limits begin and end.

I've yet to take a round number being a newbie, I keep forgetting to keep an eye out for it.

Terl's squadron stealthily worked their way to Westerfeld space. They were half the way there when the scanners alerted them to a ship off their starboard side. Terl ordered the ship stopped and hailed the ship which was drifting aimlessly, obviously out of commission.

The voice responded to the hails, "Meesa broken down. Meesa needs helps."

"Oh my God!" thundered Terl. "Open fire immediately. Leave no traces of that accursed foul ship."

The beams obliterated the small craft and pieces floated through space. The crew chuckled and started on their way back to Westerfeld.

Oh, BTW, I have not forgotten about the contest. I have a game that should finish tonight. RL gets in the way. Busy day yesterday both at work and off work...

No worries, Terl. I'm busy outside of work as well and have to try to fit in GalCiv when I can! Just play when you can and enjoy yourself!

My only regret in destroying Jar-Jar's ship is there are still pieces left...

Good morning Guardians! Great story Terl.

Another busy day for me, but at least I'm not going on the road today.

The Scribe is on a roll...WTG, Terl!

It seems that our plan to leave the round numbers exposed in order to pump up the thread is working with outstanding efficiency!

General Y1-A4 was in the command center on Westerfeld. He was watching the squadron of ships approaching the planet. "Who are they?" he demanded sharply from the scanner operator.

"Well, sir, they are our ships, I can tell by the pretty blinking lights and look at the markings sir. See? On the side of the ships, it says 'Yo-yo-Yor Industries and Rap Collective," the operator answered quite nervously. General Y1-A4 had a reputation for being quite irritable and nasty of late, especially after the Sump Pump Susie malfunction a week ago. General Y1-A4 had been walking strangely since then.

"Keep an eye on them," the General ordered as he limped back toward his desk. "Something is odd about all this...." he muttered under his breath to no one in particular.

The scanner operator needed a break but there was no one to replace him at the moment. "What to do, what to do," his circuits whirred softly. He deftly removed his occular unit and placed it upon the scanner and disconnected the leads from the socket. "There, now off to break! I am keeping my 'eye' on them after all," he giggled in that annoying Yor manner. The giggle sounded like two rasps being rubbed against one another, quite annoying.

With the post deserted no Yor saw the small squadron enter orbit of Westerfeld and begin its scan for defenses. What Terl saw amazed him. He expected a defense fleet after long range scanners had detected ships in orbit, but the distance was a bit too great for the ship classes to be discerned. The Guardians had also received threats demanding tributes from the Yor hence, these added to the belief the Yor were massing a fleet for invasion. All Terl and his mates found were colony ships and a lone transport. "Damned stupid Yor," Terl cursed.

Terl switched the radios to a higher band undetectable by the Yor and outlined the situation to the incoming fleets commanded by Greldon, Theoden, and Lothmorg. Though now a Senator, Greldon still felt a longing to destroy the much hated Yor and welcomed the opportunity to join battle with them. Theoden had always been a warrior King and never strayed far from the fields of battle. Lothmorg just enjoyed breaking things.

It was decided that since the fleet was near enough, Terl's squadron would take out the few ships in orbit and make haste for the next Yor world of Poseidon, yet a few parsecs beyond Westerfeld. Terl was overjoyed and set out his battle plan. Within less than an hour all ships in orbit had been destroyed, their debris raining down on the Yor cities below.

General Y1-A4 was dismayed at the suddenness of the attack and rushed to the scanner console where he found the occular unit still lying upon the scanning screen. "Damn, find X3-Z2, kill him, and prepare my ship for evacuation! We are off to Poseidon. We will make our final stand there!"

Terl intercepted the communications and was elated to find the Yor had only two worlds. He had feared their evil had spread further. His fleet left orbit ahead of General Y1-A4's in hopes they may intercept him before he arrived at Poseidon. Terl relayed the news to the inbound fleet and headed out to lie in ambush, waiting on the General and his staff.....

Yes, I'd like to put it on the website. I'm thinking of adding a "Stories" section over there.
