I found it funny that in the final episode of TNG, Beverly Picard's medical ship, the Pasteur, was going warp 13. Yeah....

Oh, yeah. All Good Things broke a few rules too.

Yeah... every Star Trek Boxset was $100 per season. I alread spent $1400 on TNG and DS9.

I recorded DS9 when it was on TV here in France. It is a lot of tapes...
Voyager is several months away, I think. It wasn't even on TV in France. Thks Kazaa
But I do get Oz, no DVDs for sale though, anywere in Europe!

Couldn't you order them through Amazon.com or something?

France uses a strange TV system (secam?)

I did this once. For a game, not available here, for both seasons of 24H, and 4 DVDs. When I went to get the package in the post office, there was a 25% import tax .
Thank God the euro/dollar rate is so favorable lately. It was very expensive anyway. Sometimes I can get it on british internet companies, a few months later, then with no tax but there is the price of patience

Yes. But most VHS players read PAL too (ok with most other european contries). US format however is read as only B&W. But my DVD player is multizone literate .

Whoa... that sucks.

Good deal.

Yeah, internet does make some things easier

Indeed. I have TONS of disks as proof of that.

that was not what I had in mind, but yes, I could say the same

Unfortunatelly, Oz and West Wing are nowhere to be found (on this side of the Atlantic or Internet anyway)

See you later Arcilte. Another day at work tomorrow, and I just had some pretty bad beating and patronizing from the Altarians, who managed a cultural victory at my expense...

I'll do what i can... (not much at the moment.. dam game keeps crasking... might have to use AP something that I think is a totaly different game... because it has 7 main AI's and no starbase logistics, and still has some cheses...

Hello everyone !
Captain Qwerk: As someone already said, there are logistics in AP, the cost of the starbase is even higher (250bc) and the techs are there too. Except for the 2 extra aliens and 4 new ships, there are no big diferences. But the galaxy is a bit more crowded, which I prefer

As for your game crashing, I just saw this post by Peace Phoenix in the bug report thread. I don't know if it applies to your problem, but who knows...

"I have updated from 1.13 to 1.2 and I have made a lots of copy and paste inth the files in order to play a french version. And I have found some strange things:
- some files appear to have been generated in a strange way: the end of the file was repeated
- I have experience lots of CTD. When I look in the debug.err, I found that lots of files have parsing problems. The funny thing was that I fixed the first file, reload Galciv and no more CTD. Looks like when a file has parsing problems, the game can't parse correct files that are loaded next. I am also wondering if some people are experiencing lots of CTD due to this point and the above mentionned"

Hmmm, The Evil Empire must all be out enslaving the world. They're not responding to our hails.

I noticed... I thought with the return of Sade they would be a lot more talkative.

I wish they would respond at least. The deadline is approaching....
