How would I go about finding whose at war with who and such?

Go to the diplomacy tab and click on treaties, the key at the side explains what's going on. If you have a basic level of intelligence on the race it will automatically notify you when they go to war or sign a peace treaty.

I think he might mean the empires in the metaverse. If this is the case. you can check the websites of the empires, some of them will tell you. Otherwise just keep an ear out. Come to think of it, I should talk to Kyro about adding that to our site.

If you're right Kemp, here's a breakdown of current Metaverse wars:

-the SF-FotR war continues

-skirmishes have broken out along the SF-Euro border

-MWC has declared a "war of retribution" against SF

-a diplomatic blunder has kept JR and SF fighting

-RB refuses to accept the SF peace offer

-the Undead continue to raid SF territory

-ANZACs are trying to make headway in their subterfuge campaign against SF

-SF and G.R.O.S.S. are still locked in a trade war

-the Aldarians have initiated hostilities against SF

-SF is facing a joint invasion from Evil Empire and The Diplomats

Hope this clarifies things for you, Goblin.

Hmm, sounds like SF isn't too popular... You forgot the Jedi invasion of the MWC by the way.

I'm happy to say the Galactic Guardians are still pretty Switzerland-like for the time being. Neutrality has it's benefits!

We're at war? Bugger--I was just heading over there for a tall beverage...

Kit Warrior,

The Special Forces only acts in the best interest of the Metaverse. All those empires you named our actually in a coalition with us -- there official positions are meaningless - as clearly the Special Forces gets to define the best interests of the Metaverse and whose with us - or against us. If you disagree, you are a unilateralist... and no likes unilateralists.

Now--what beverage is in my best interest?

BamBam,

Ordering from the Special Forces bar is unlikely to be in your best interest, but it sure is fun.
Order whatever you like, unless you're ordering from Piers - in which case, order a cola - which will probably still end up being 40 proof...

Good Luck,
Cypher

True. SF has been great allies and friends with us. I do wish there was a way to have formal Alliances and Wars through Stardock. That would add a much needed spice to the Metaverse.

I would say the JR and SF are at least friendly, if not allies. And certainly not at war.

Although there are a lot of informal agreements and alliances in the Meta, the top empire gets shot at from all sides in the end, allies or no. Such is the law of the Meta. Once in a while a superpower (or pair of alternating ones) can hold onto the crown for a few weeks or low months, but defections, new blood, old player apathy, the score inflation cycles of the past, and now improved score degradation for inactive folks all wore the others down and will go to work eventually once again. Don't get me wrong, I wish the SF well. I am just saying that nothing so far lasts forever at the top of the Meta.

And it shouldn't last forever (no disrespect to SF). If it was there would be nothing to strive for.

Geez... Y'all can't take a joke, can ya? That's ok. I was like that last week so I took a break. Maybe the Jedi Republic needs to take a break. Yes, I think every other empire would be in favor of that.

Choose Your Own Adventure Booze Raid

~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

Defeated and humiliated, you await your fate. Once the space pirates have hauled all your booze over to their vessel, you’re given a choice. You can either be sold into slavery or dropped of on the nearest inhabitable planet. What’s your decision?

a) You decide it’s best to have someone look after you. How bad can slavery be? Go to post #12 in the Inter-Empire Political Discussion thread.

b) You’re no fool... at least not twice in one day. Once you reach an interstellar comm station, you can signal to be rescued. Go to post #60 in the NEW AND FIRST ALLIANCE TOURNAMENT thread.
