Players for this and last month by empire at the altmeta

Thanks, great information. What exactly does the CT column stand for? Games submitted?

Help! Statbot threw me out of my empire!

Just went to check out my stats after the last update. While statbot correctly says there are 38 players in the Guardians, there are only 34 listed. It is also including my stats in the empire totals, because I see my non-maso game listed as played "yesterday". Just no link to my personal stats. I've been orphaned!

The interesting thing is that you are still on the Statbot run by KasualKid here: http://idle.thehueys.com/midwest/statbot Link

And the reason that there are two missing from the statbot on KasualKid's is that there are two players who haven't submitted a game. But someone else in the Guardians isn't showing up either on Alex's.

Found the other missing. It is Omni 11.

Well, it seemed to right itself with the latest pass. Just a glurp.

Just a glurp.

What an intriguing word, Glurp.

The statbot occasionlly glitches if it can't read someone's profile - I'd guess that this is what has happened!

glitch

and

glurp

Now would a glurp be a cousin or a sibling of glitch?

Alex,

I know it's selfish, but is there any way you could set up a page on the Alt Meta to show just the Guardians of Doom and the Guardians of Justice? And also include J.T. Qwerk and Mass Destruction in the Guardians of Doom?

And as long as I'm asking, is there any way to sort the games by morality so we're sure the GoD are playing Neutral/Evil and the GoJ are playing Neutral/Good? (This is asking a lot and if it's too much, tell me to stick my head in a boiling pot of piss.)

That's a little harsh.

Alex,

Could you just send me the raw data file you receive from KK?

love2code@hotmail.com Email

Thanks.

Now, if you think that is asking much, think of how bad it would be on him if these numbers were calculated manually! KK and Alex need more thanks for automating the process and getting the data displayed. The old, primitive methods I used in the original system do not do justice in today's on-demand Metaverse, and the Statbot and the AltMeta derived from it are absolutely great.

My personal thanks to both KK and Alex for their efforts. I raise my glass. This round is on me.

the raw data file

I don't get a "raw data file" - it is all handled in an SQL database.

What do you get from KK? The DB? If so, I'd sure like to see it.

Terl and I have some ideas and would like to see what you have to work with.

The statbots are not picking up the information for AP v1.50 games because the metaverse scoring format is different.

Click on my name and take a look at the very last submission.

The statbot has been updated to accept scores from the Altarian Prophecy update. The last run picked up a few scores as I put the update in place halfway through the process. The next full run should pull in all the 1.5 version scores.

I have noticed that the MWC Statbot has got some errors in it.

1. By design or not the statbot only picks up players that are part of an empire.

2. The pie charts are total messed up. The colours are not matched correctly to the titles.

3. After selecting an empire, in the "Good/Neutral/Evil Stats and Averages" the games for Good/Evil/Neutral are way wrong.

4. Also in this category the points for evil/good/neutral are way wrong.

If it is possible to fix this that would be great! I like these statbots because they reflect what is going on in the game.

One other request would be to hold more than 2 months of information.

They are the inverse - just invert either the colors or the legend.

Well, they fixed the pie charts, but they seem to be way behind in gathering statistics. The Statbot posts me at least 7 games behind what the Metaverse says I have played. Also, my difficulty rating hasn't changed in over 5 games that I have submiited.

Help, the altmeta is down. Hope it's just updating...

The altmeta is back and everyone appears to be listed again!

It looks like there may be a problem with the statbot - the 9:00pm UTC/GMT update appears to be struggling....

I'll keep people posted if/when I know anything.

Alex
