Good idea, give me plenty of notice - got a pretty full social calendar kicking in from next month (always the busiest time of year on the gig scene).

What about new rock?!

#14  by Citizen Exar Kuun - 4/20/2004 12:27:00 PM

Hey I am a rock fan too, love everything from AC/DC to the more modern stuff like hundred reasons. Not a big fan of the crud that bands like slipknot put out though.

#15  by Citizen _Attila_ - 4/20/2004 12:48:00 PM

slipknot

same here, i really don't like them, it is a bit too much, no disrespect to the funs!
Though can listen to Merlyn Manson, sometimes!

I am a big fun of Coldplay, Travis, Stereophomics, H.I.M., The Rasmus...

Don't mind some classical house...

Some of the newer popular bands are Ok. I particularly like Creed & Evanesence(sp). Most of them don't do it for me though.

Evanescence's really good band i have an album, first time i heard about them was in that DAREDEVIL film, got soundtracks of that film, Bring me to Live and My immortal, those two songs were my favourite. After i got their CD most of the songs are now my favourite..

Heh Heh! Most of the bands I go and see have probably been playing since before you were born Attila. Showing my age now.

Got a big rock festival coming up in Sweden at the beginning of June - Judas Priest, Scorpions, UFO, Heart, Montrose plus about 40 more.

Please let me know if a meeting is planned in the UK as I'd also be interested.

Paul.
