LW! Are you Irish by origin? |
|
German / English actually. But I admire the Irish for ther fine whiskey, scotches, and beers.
My, this thread seems to take after its parent. |
|
I was thinking that.

Hey, EE, since you mentioned Alter, where did you get that from? I have only heard that term from the SWCCG. Did you used to play? |
|
I control your sense, i deploy a Boo'marrr Monk at the Executor control room and force drain ABT for 2 which wins me the game then i play "away with your weapon in response" to get 5 extra points
does that answer your question abt?

When I stopped, at the Spec Edition I think, I had these events that gave me bland systems of my choice, and I could drop a bunch of cheap guys on it. Great for the Rebels. And with the Death Star, I could never find that, but I had a few Commence Primaries, and a few Trench Runs. For a fleet, I think I had about 6 ISD, some bland and some specific, and Executor, plus a bunch of other crap. |

The game got a little strange after that. Death Star II had some neat stuff. The Reflections really hoked it up, adding in the new movies and the starting card that you could play to defend against interrupts and effects. It became a game where you either had those cards or you lost. Then the whole buyout by WOTC/Hasbro... bleh!

evening LW man that jester's corner's got some funney $h*T! in it!

Yeah, I think I remember seeing a bit of Death Star II with the MonCal cruisers, and the A-Wings and B-Wings.
The starting/lost/used interrupts came from SpecEdition I think.

no lost and used were always part of it starting and effect interrupts i think came with spec edition just a moment let me dig my old cards out and see...hmmmm

The starting interupts from SE were a step down the path. The cards from Reflections III were worse. Like you could have a permanent "Away Put Your Weapons" guarenteed at the start of play. I'll have to go look now and see if I can find those again...
