To replace the gfx graphics and maybe for the creation of ships.

Also you can create with this program animations for the game, movies for the scenes of blowing a planet, or trade, colonization and talking with your AI friends or foes.

If you would like to help to write up a detailed specification of how this should work within Galciv Writer, it would be most welcome.

You know what, screw it. Toss over the writer. Before you do, how big is it?

Hey Renegade, i got a bounced back message from your account you don't have enough space for the writer, contact me by posting here or leaving me a pm in the SH when you've got at least 2.5 MB space and i'll resend it.

ATTENTION! Beta Testers! i am about to release the newest version of galciv writer too you please have at least 4.5 MB of space in your inboxes open when you read this, i will be releasing it periodically throughout the day, multiple times if i encounter any bounced back messages, you must remember to do the following with this version:

From Slothrop:

The main feature that can be announced to the testers are that it is supposed to handle AP and the Mod directories, and that there is now a Mods Manager. Also, it uses zip files for archiving purposes and for creating mods.

Remember to remind everyone to backup the following 4 directories before testing v2.0.0-alpha6 ... just in case:

drengin.net\galciv\Data\
drengin.net\galciv\Mods\
drengin.net\AltarianProphecy\Data\
drengin.net\AltarianProphecy\Mods\

Nope beta testers are still needed. Just post your address here, or send an e-mail to T3C. Or I guess he really could steal it off your Embassy account. Public info and all.
