The birth of a new Empire.

As you may of read, I have been in talks with Matthew and Newfy about the idea of creating a new Empire.

The Crazy Canucks was created with the goal of giving active GC players an Empire which is truly active. We do know non-Canadians may not want to be called "Canucks", so today we start a new Empire.

Good morning

Today we shake the metaverse!

We are looking for a few (ok many) active players.

Does your current empire make you feel like you are the only one playing?

Does your Empire thread echo when you post to it?

Have most of the players in your Empire been captured and been indefinitely detained in some forgotten prison?

Are you lonely and looking for an Empire that is active, friendly and moving up the ranks?

Do other Empires make fun of your empire just because you are the only one left?

Do you want to join a young and hungry empire that is questing for a top spot in the Metaverse?

If you answered yes to any of these questions then you should seriously consider joining The Foundation.

We started life less than two weeks ago firmly in 16 spot. In these two weeks we have moved to 6 spot. We are close enough in points that many of the empires ranked ahead of us will be nervous.

Even the number 1 empire The Galactic Guardians are stepping up their submission rate!

Lets give then a run for their money!

Good luck in your venture... Of course you realize that StarFleet can't help you with any technology now can we interfere with any Fledgling Empires as we Abide by and Believe in the Prime Directive ... "Win At all Costs" ... ummm.. no.. sorry wrong cue card...

Ok, I have uploaded a new logo. I am sorry that I didn't have time to create a really nice one.

Hopefully Tech will have his logo finished soon.

New logo is a little small to make out very well. When I look at it it looks like a skull and cross bones, or the nose-on picture of a space craft of some sort. I am sure that you all will come up with something that properly reflects the foundation and its quest to rule the skys. How about a mountain goat, they climb higher than others and it could symbolize you accent.

Tech is an empire to himself really.... he's be comming 10th as a solo empire...

And as far as the Actavaty of the FOTR .. they have been actibf both this month and last

Link shows that even without you in there that they are still the 4th most active (including raw score contributions) in the metaverse... just how acrive does Mat want the empires to be...

Not picking... its up to him which empire he wants to be in.. I don't think that he knew just how active FOTR really has been.. with the state of the metaverse at the moment there wasn't much movement..I have always had and still do.. the highest respect to mat and all other vetrans of GalCiv (I just like ribbing them at times.. after all all is fair in the metaverse)

BTW congrats on taking 3rd place.. and I like your logo..

looks like a pit... be carefull you don't trip...

(I'm not picking on people ... this is mearly pointing out things i've noticed.. in and about the metaverse) I've joked about at least 3 ppl in this empire already... i'm sure there will be more..

Yes, until I was playing with the Altmeta just now I hadn't realised that some of those guys had started playing again.
But if 'active' means playing GalCiv AND posting on the forums, I'd say the Fellowship was pretty inactive.

Yes it was.... Thats one reason I left when I did too... 3 months ago the forum was almost dead.. then it picked up again just after I left.. go figure... I didn't think I was that bad.. neither were my stories... Remember good old Smeagol...
