Hey J.T.Qwerk Star Fleet will live forever!!

My psychohistorical science tells me that to achieve true immortality, you should disband for twenty years and then reform as a Next Generation empire.

Thanks for the welcome and comments. I plan to stay active with regular game submissions and hopefully my scores will show consistency with regular improvement.I notice alot of Canadians around here so at the risk of being burned at the stake for going off topic - Congrats Canucks on the Hockey World Cup win. OK- I promise no more off topic. Cya.

Welcome, Termil! Don't worry, being Canadian isn't compulsory around here. And there is no 'off-topic' in this forum - if you want to review a movie, tell a joke, or mention something interesting that happened while playing a game, go right ahead.

Need any help with your GalCiv technique? Some of us are ridiculously experienced and knowledgable. (But be careful - the game is probably more fun when you don't play so perfectly that every game is predictable.)

The other series had the Galatic Commonwealth colapse.

Termil, off topic conversations? That is our bread and butter. You had better stay off topic mister!!!! Off topic is our topics

We are number 2

All we need is a damoose mascot.

And a new empire icon.

#62  by Diplomat Technician - 9/15/2004 7:11:45 AM

I kind of like the icon.

Does anybody have an idea for the Foundation icon or better yet a file ?

#63  by Citizen NewfyScotian - 9/15/2004 10:01:45 AM

I am not very artistic sorry. I over extended myself when I did the crazy canucks icon.

Hmmm...since robots like R. Daneel Olivaar (sp?) were the hidden driving forces behind the Foundation, maybe a robotic symbol is appropriate.

Oi! No spoilers!

Although a suitably cropped and resized robot face (like this one:
http://www.hooverdust.com/daily/archive/images/i_robot.jpg Link ) might not be too bad.

Oops!

As for the pic, I'm not sure it will look as good small.

A robot with more definition like Robby the Robot might look better smaller.

I-Robot, do not know what is wrong with me all the bad reviews I read I watched I-Robot twice.

Good luck with your new empire ya'all, and glad to see an active forum here!

Using that robot symbol might be hazardous to YOR health. I sense terror stars on YOR horizon!

#72  by Citizen Matthew Downie - 9/15/2004 11:43:11 AM

Well, that's one of the distinguishing features of the Foundation Empire. We firmly believe that all robots are programmed not to harm human beings, nor to allow them (through inaction) to come to harm, and we deal with the Yor accordingly.

To put into a place of honor that which is the dredded enemy of the most powerful empire in the Meta is indeed leading to a potential conflict.

Or healthy competition
