What!? I'm gone for a little while, and everybody's gone and retired and everything! Why?! Is something wrong? I mean I don't mind if someone is tired of the game or something like that, but why did Newfy retire? And why did you leave the Foundation Aww Nuts? Did something happen that made you want to leave?

Hey Newfy. I hope the rumor is NOT true that you are retireing. You bring joy to a lot of us and you stand out as a shining light against the darkness. Please don't leave the forums even if you don't play as much. I can understand the play part. As number 2 there was not way I was going to be number 1 with Tech roaring ahead. Takes two of us Guardians just to stay even with Tech.

In any case, congrats again on reaching a million. That alone is quite a goal and one to be proud of.

Newfy should make something official but if he does not....

Oh well like I said in the past it is only in the end a game. Not being stuck in a points race in the metaverse has advantages.

You are free to play other games or explore GC/AP at your own pace trying mods different win styles.

It has been suggested that I may want to slow down or retire myself. I may but for now I will just continue cranking out my masos.

Tech is correct. I am retiring my player. My goal is/was to get to 1 million. I may submit one more game just to make sure that I stay in the 1 million region. I suffer from fluctuations that are about 6K in size.

I am toying around with starting a new player. Something that I was adamantly against a few weeks ago. I have over 260 games and 1 million metaverse points. At my rate of play I may be able to take a few more positions but that is it. My heart is not in the Metaverse game anymore.

My new player will be with the Foundation. I will play Galciv, not the metaverse game though.

I will continue to post in the forums and there is at least one more Metaverse Rag coming.
