1 smiley because I like to help others

That would be great, Aww Nuts. That way people who were interested could do their own prognostication about where they might end up. PP does a great job in responding and I know he also willing to share, but my French is worse than his English

I speak Francais but I know tres peu. I don't know if I even spelled that correctly. I will always remember September '97 in Paris. Musee D'Orsee, Louvre, going up the steps to the Sacre Coeur and all of the candles. All very moving and very beautiful. From the Eiffel Tower we saw daylight, a sunset and then the City of Lights at night. Palace at Versailles, trip through the Chunnel to England (London) Very real chills (always a good thing).

All good.

It isn't required for translating my Excel Spreadsheet:
I have some working sheets with french formulas. I have copied the values in some, so anybody can see how it should look, and in others, I have copied the formula and replace the character '=' by nothing, meaning that anybody can see the formulas that are now texts. And there is a sheet explaining the meaning of the french Excel functions I used.

I will give it a try. Please, send it to me Peace. theburt@charter.net Email

I may not be able to look at it today as this is the first day that I can trade in the Market (stocks/options) as I have been waiting for the elections to end.

Ok, send.

The funny thing is that there seems to be a problem with my score: I calculate 749K when the metaverse is giving me 745K. But it gives me 47 games when my profile shows 49.

Sun spots in the Meta? Radiation wrecking havock. All Yor are probably malfunctioning as well.

Hey everyone, I hope my message to Newfy didn't bother anyone, I was just telling Newfy that I understood what he was doing and why he made that dession. (At least I hope what I said was what Newfy was doing, I'm probably completely off target as usual. ) I also hope that you didn't mind me Newfy, saying all of that stuff. I guess I was just airing my oppinion, and maybe what I said was more of what I felt about games and such, rather than what you feel. I don't know, maybe I'm just talking to myself.

Were they EVER functioning? (Properly that is)

All Yor are probably malfunctioning as well.

If all familes are disfunctional, the normal familes must be disfunctional and disfunctioanl families are normal.

Yor are normally disfunctional, but since they always are, that makes them normal. Right?

Hey Tech, Any comments on my Einstein question? I greatly admired the man but I still have some questions about relativity. I call things as I see them. This offends some but mostly enlightens me and hopefully others. If you felt my question was inappropriate then tell me so. Then tell me how you wanted me to phrase it for now and the future. Someone very close to me had Einstein as their ideal. They moved away and I lost contact. You are my resident expert. Again, in no way was I trying to offend. Burt

John, everythings cool. I am still posting to the forums and I will still play the game. I am just retiring from the metaverse. I made my goal of 1 million which was a tough thing.

Once I started MASO I was not having as much fun playing the game anymore. Now having said that I did eventually figure out how to play MASO more on my terms than the computers but it still was not as fun.

I have more enjoyment playing normal, tough than the other because I like battles not alliance victories.

Aww Nuts,

I try not question anybody, this is why I try to avoid conversations on faith.

I can understand why you think I maybe an Einstien expert (My Avatar) but I am sorry to say I really am not in any way an expert on Einstein. I know some equations and I read science articles now and then but that is the extent of my knowledge.

I am afraid I missed you question or it went over my head.

Why not open up the Einstein question? I am sure you can get many points of view on Einstein from players on the board.

Thanks Tech, for your suggestion. I am sorry for the confusion.

Does anyone know?

Peace, I emailed you my spreadsheet with the coded macro. I will attempt to write a program to parse the Gal Civ game submission page. I will try to put it into your spreadsheet and/or mine. BTW, the GC program rounds the total. Thanks for your spreadsheet! Burt

Good Night Tech,

I completed the data model. It looks possible. I figure coding and testing around 3-5 hours. I will probably finish tomorrow.

Well, if you look carefully to my spreadsheet, you will see that I use copy and paste from one's profile to get all data

#1145  by Citizen Aww_Nuts - 11/4/2004 8:39:18 AM

I hadn't checked that page. I pasted my scores but the other pages didn't update. I tried the F9 key but it didn't help. I'm glad I hadn't coded the page parser. Thanks.

Did you see the macro?

Hey Tech, I have been wondering something since I've started an account here: How did you get the picture on your lookup? I noticed that Icho Tolot has a picture too. I was just wondering. If its a BIG secret and you don't want to tell thats fine.
