I an considering today on buying a pocket PC.Looks cool. |
|
I guess my only question would be what would you use it for? I purchased a Palm a couple of years ago and initially I was going to use it for email and schedule and note taking.
I found that the email was too restrictive due to screen size. Taking notes was problematic even once I learned to write on the screen well.
I finally only used it for my schedule but when the palm was in its case on my hip the sound was not loud enough for me to hear upcoming schedule notification. If the palm was on my desk with the sound turned up it was a distraction to others. There should have been a vibrate function to help out with notifications.
The only time it really got use was on long trips and I played some games on it to waste some time.
For me I found it to be a bad purchase. Mind you it was not a Pocket PC but I would expect that even a Pocket PC may suffer from those problems.

Hey Tech, unless you wanted all of the very technical stuff in your handheld, then I sugjest looking at the Nokia N-Gage. Its a cell phone, has awesome graphics for a handheld, a big variety of games, MP3 player,
Stereo FM Radio, USB port, Bright backlight, Tri-band GSM, wireless multiplayer gaming (That feature is only if your close enough to someone else who has the same game on their own N-Gage) and a lot of other features that I don't know about! But I do not know what you're looking for, so it may not be what you want. But if you are interested, then here is a link: Link
I hope that if this gets your interest, it will help you out!
