IBH Termination Contracts - for fun only
  Search:

How contracts work: -

Once a contract has been issued IBH members will 'comb' the galciv threads in search of the 'targets' posts. if one of our assassins notices a reply from the target as a 'last post' without another member of his/her empire following with another 'defending' post we will post a Target Eliminated message. The assassin that terminated the target will receive special commendation on the website.

Only one 'contract' to be issued at any one time with a maximum duration of 48 hours.

Any metaverse member may issue a contract if there is not one already active. Please keep the reward points sensible.

Please post your contracts in this thread following this format:  Contract issued on "insert name here" - XXX Points.

Please remember that the idea of this is to have some fun here in the galciv forums & is not intended as an insult or personal threat to any board member.

The IBH Empire does not condone violence in any shape, matter or form.

Should you have any questions about this please ask.

~~Mace

Contract issued on Aww Nuts - 50 Points

Now wait a minute here. Some of us are honorary members of the Guardians. In this case I think that you must consider that if I had a contract on me and one of the Guardians posted after me I should be safe.

I am sure that the Guardians would post the list of the honorary members.

So how about it? Any honorary member should be allowed to save another?

There might be some problems in tracking that, i.e. some folks don't know who's an honorary for which empire (like me for example, I only know SOME of the honorary GG members). However, I like the concept. It helps keep this a ~friendly~ thing rather than an us against them thing.

Thats not fair for those empires with only one member in them.. (even 1 member active)

We just need to prevent such contracts

Once a contract has been issued IBH members will 'comb' the galciv threads in search of the 'targets' posts.

Does this means this empire bounty hunter contract can go to all galciv forums, and not only the empire forum ?

All forums & all threads

For easiness only an actual member of your empire can 'defend' your post. honorary positions are excluded from this

. if one of our assassins notices a reply from the target as a 'last post' without another member of his/her empire following with another 'defending' post we will post a Target Eliminated message.

If I understand correctly, if in a thread we found a post from Aww Nuts without any post from his empire following it (but it coulde be followed by posts from others empire) , we can post the target elimnated message.

One more point, I suppose that members of the IBH are immune to contracts

you should be able to defend yourself...

I think that for a clean "kill", you must be the next post after the victim. Even a random "innocent" blocking the shot should be enough to keep a true professional from risking the mission. In other words, I think anyone posting after the mark should be enough to "defend" them. If you want one of us, it has to be the very next post in a thread.

Indeed. That would make a little more difficult. Whatever... it's all in the hunt... And speaking of which...

I feel honored to be the first contract. I would have more to say but it is time for my morning "elimination".

I heard the Bounty hunters got Nutts. They were itching to get at Nutts. But Nutts was hard. Newfy wanted to protect his Nutts but the PP eliminated Nutts.

I disagree contract was issued after ichot post. Ichot post should have to be after contract issued

Yes, they are. But this is a secret knowledge known only by IBH. After all, we are trained to handle all kind of contracts

#24  by Senator Drengin - 10/15/2004 3:28:04 PM

Termination void.

In the name of sport we should only go for posts that have been posted after the contract is issued.

think 'real life' you wouldnt accept a contract after the 'mark' has been disposed of.....

Therefore new rule = posts must be from after contract issued.
