I must say that I spend most of my board time at the new Galactic Core - just to hard to open the Claw in the Empire forum any more. People there are great and there are some interesting side games to play and post about. We all have a good laugh at things as well as some serious chat forums on news of the day, religious forum, etc.
Come visit and meet some long time GalCiv players - sosme of whom are still playing.

I didn't like the site, really, sorry. I was expecting more galciv, but there is more talk about that ADR RPG than there is about Galciv. In fact, there isn't any talk about galciv on that forum anymore.

These two sites are the ONLY REAL fansites for galciv and galciv2. NeoTech is my site which I feel is the best!

Yes, you guys copied our entire format to kill NeoTech I want to thank you and Darth for doing this. I worked my ass off for the community and I get this kind of thanks?  Whatever guys have fun I am into online gaming now so it really doesn't matter. The turn based community for gaming is just not my bag no more due to this crap. OH Look it still says ALTERNATIVE To galciv forums.
Stupid attitudes and crap going on all the time. I have never bashed your website yet you guys sure can do it to me. We WERE affiliated as well and now we are not no longer being you stooped to this level. Enjoy killing my site I hope it was worth it. (No I didn't do it on my own all the best players did it to us being part of that site. New users will find out for themselves the LARGE ego you all have.
Sorry but this really pisses me off I don't deserve this kind of crap, not from Chippoka nor from any of you guys. Being a nice person bending over backwards like I do for everyone simply doesn't pay off.

Mmmh first the Diplomats were a normal Empire.
Thenn there came the core forum.
And the Core grew and grew to a nice community site.
Then it drifted away from GC.
And now it comes back, with loots of stuff, that is known from NeoTech, I think thats whats making DF unhappy.
He worked hard on the stuff, building things up.
Well, I do not visite the Core as often as NT, I consider it less "overloaded" with other stuff, and there is more interesting stuff on NT
Of cause The Core gets more attention, then NeoTech, Darth has the rights to post big pics and graphics for his promotion, and he uses it.

No I did it. With Darth's permission of course. I took nothing nor copied anything from your site. Honestly I find NeoTech a bit hard to navigate around. No one here or at the Core is trying to put you down or out of business. Seems we each have our own type of users.

Well yes. This is the origional and we offer another suitable place as this forum can go for days with out a post and we average about 100 a day. Our membership is not that big, but those there are active and have the desire to help out other GalCiv players.
As far as I know we still have a link to your site on our portal, as we never held ill-will toward you or any of your users.
Finally about the coattails...

Its all good guys, let us all get along and support each others websites as it should be. My only concern was you guys were trying too drive NeoTech into the ground. We have been running our format for almost 2 years running and The Core NEVER has been a Fansite it has ALWAYS been an empire site and as this thread is titled an ALTERNATIVE too Galciv NOT a fansite. Darth we made peace over this situation and I no longer want any issues. Okay?
I would LOVE to see this thread erased and replaced with a thread called Galciv Fansites. Give us all a fair chance at getting noticed. You do have powers on these forums no one else has. Get the point why I freaked initally?
Magician of Black Chaos, you are not a active member at my website why say a word about this? I do hope this nonsense stops and we all visit each others websites, can it happen or not?  The coat tails comment was out of line plain and simple. 
My health has been pretty bad over the past few months preventing me from covering this game better then I have been over the past months. I am finally feeling a bit better and plan to begin massive coverage of this game along with all the other games we support.
