Question to the group about the Seldon mod...

I would again like to add my voice to the chorus of praise for this game, while at the same time picking everybody's brain. At least, everybody who has tried the Seldon mod based on Asimov's 'Foundation' trilogy and subsequent series. The question is, given that over a thousand players have downloaded it, what is the consensus on it's playability and the like? I ask before trying it as it is not Stardock Certified; what kind of problems does it give? Thanks in advance for any replies!
