Is there a Star Trek mod out now? Done a post search and not seemed to have much luck, there is a post that says one exists but the links don't work.

Yes, as Sir Nasty of Tang suggested, one of my administrators Hut101 started it and BlueSteel has added some bug fixes to it. It still needs some work so if your into helping out be sure to let them know in the forums.

no.. you can use it in GC and or in AP

when used in AP most of the files do get installed in the GC mods folder

Well, I can't find this MOD at Neo Tech gaming!
