As i see on the cyber poll there are many people who like to see galciv I continued - so do i. On the other hand i can imagine that stardock wants to keep selling this game and related expansions. Why dont we help stardock in finding the right things to keep the game interesting? So if there is'nt always a proposal-list anywhere at stardock (if so - let me know where) we could create one. Stardock could pick some ideas they feel are good an create a "most wanted"-like poll. But submitting ideas here means think first then write. No utopian dreams - more real-world ideas and improvements of existing game features are wanted. Try to explain your ideas in SHORT but CLEAR words...

Research costs should be calculated correctly.
Currently to show the remaining month the free research of the last turn is used to calculate the values. Correct would be the free research of the current turn.
This is a bug fix but nevertheless one of the most wanted features for me
A good enhancement would be to show the total cost of the tech and a visualization via progress bar.
The civilization boni should be handled different. Currently the economic boni i. e. can fill up your planetary cap only. If you have well developed planets with enough people on it you will reach the cap without boni easily. This makes some sorts of boni useless. It would be better if these bonusses would raise the cap. For that the boni should be lowered to balance that.

Currently your trade income depends on distance, population of the trading star systems and trade boni. Your trade income is splitted to all of your colonies - so if you have lots of colonies the importance of trade suffers. But if you have many colonies you can produce tons of trade goods you can sell. For that reason the sum of the economic powers of the trading empires or their production volume should be a factor too.
On the topic of possible expansions, I'd like to see an editor with proper event-scripting that's able to create/destroy ships/stars/planets/resources with a wide array of triggering conditions.
I'd also like to have multiple maps, perhaps able to be accessed through pre-placed wormholes, able to be traversed after a particular tech is researched for example?
Some sort of terrain? Nebulae, black holes, dense dust clouds for example? Some of these cannot be crossed, others can be with particular ships or techs?
Pre-placing minors in scenarios/custom-maps would be another a nice touch.
I would like to see possible expansions with adding ship grapics easyer. I`m tring to make some right now and i don`t know what I am doing so I`m having a hard time with it. I know if it was that easy everyone would do it.
This would be a great improvement. e.g. when you build starbases you could assign a group of planets to a rally point and send all constructors to your destination.
When enough constructors are on the way you could move the rally point to a new destination where you would like to build up the next starbase and all new constructurs would automatically head to the new destination etc.
It would be optimal when you could choose if ships which are on the way to the rally point should change their destination, too. But when this is to complicated it would be enough when only new ships go to the new destination.
