What do you exactly mean?
If you want more bonus, try to get some political party mods. But be aware that the AI can choose these parties too

|
No. Nothing like that.
The Civilization Bonus Pick's that 'the player' can choose at game creation. (the option's that give between 5% and 50% in bonus to certain field --like research--)

|
Well, what does annoy you with the current bonus picks?
And be aware that the AI are playing the same game than you
In any case, you might want to take a look at the end of the english.str file

Thank you.
How do I open .str file's ? and where do I locate the english.str file that was mentioned ?.
| |
|
On my system the path is
C:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming.net\galciv\Data
All you need is a editor like notepad. Search for AbilityOptions.

Hello,
I looked in the suggested place. But I did not find number's (only something like d%). To explain what I want to do, When I create a new Game, It give's me 10point's to dish out among the Civilization Bonus Pick's. What I want to do is mod/change the *10 point's* to something like *30 point's*. Can someone please help. (I have already looked in the english.str file)

Well try to locate in the english.str file this (as I have said previously, it is near the end of the file):
// diplomacy 11
[A11_Option0Text] Talented Diplomats
[A11_Option0Bonus] 10
[A11_Option0Cost] 1
[A11_Option1Text] Skilled Diplomats
[A11_Option1Bonus] 20
[A11_Option1Cost] 2
[A11_Option2Text] Master Diplomats
[A11_Option2Bonus] 50
[A11_Option2Cost] 4
[A11_Option3Text] Expert Diplomats
[A11_Option3Bonus] 60
[A11_Option3Cost] 5

Do you need more explanations?

Hmm. Wondering why you would want to do something like that. It will work. But why? |
|
Honestly, I don't know what quinmalkiq really wants.
And the AI may well take advantage of modifications in english.str files.
