For some reason my total influence is way off when I reload a game. For example, I save a game where my influece is spread over 1/2 the galaxy. When I load that saved game my influence extends to the sectors where I have planets. I have twice as many votes in the UP and I dwarf the others on the influence chart. So what's going on here?!

I have Galactic Civilizations - Ultimate Edition if that makes any difference. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. It's pretty tough to win when the load game feature crushes your influence every time.

This was a decision of the developers to make saving and reloading faster. The influence numbers become rebuild in two or three turns after reloading.
