So I installed the latest patch version 1.02 I believe after I installed my ultimate edition and it said the change file would be listed in something called history.txt. Ok this makes sense except I can't find this file...any ideas? The update seemed to go smoothly no errors or anything.

Not sure here, but why would you need to patch the "ultimate edition" ?
The Ultimate Edition comes with the Altarian Prophecy Expansion in it.
