Anomolies Glitch

In games where the anomilies glitch, where they disappear from loading a save (or the game autosaves) and all anomilies Poof! at the same time, do they EVER come back and start reoccuring? Or is it time to just start a new game when it happens in the first year of your game.
It's been decades, playing on a small map and they have not shown up again... all A.I. Survey ships sit idle and I see all the universe and none reappear.
Too bad this bug was never fixed.

They come back in areas you have not discovered. If you have already visited that space then I have not seen them come back.
